18 thoughts on “Look Book – What would you pair with MAC Tippy Blush?

  1. I would do a really cute spring look with this blush. I would do the eyes like the too dolly look off macs website and for the lips I would use dervish lip pencil with with a clear gloss.

  2. Taylor

I really like blue eye looks with pink blushes like these, and a baby pink l/g. Something with deep truth maybe or something brighter like freshwater. Depending on my mood lol.

  3. I used Tippy in my Valentine’s look! I went with soft pale yogurt, romping and passionate as my eye inspiration…the whole look at pictures are on my blog

  4. sprut

I would actually do neutrals for eyeshadow like a soft cream and medium brown and then a light pink/clear gloss…that way the blush would really pop and be the focal point.

  5. nikki

i actually wore this blush over the weekend. i just paired it with a nice black winged eyeliner using mac’s penultimate liner, some dior show blackout mascara and some lip balm.

  6. vicki

I used this blush also this weekend. I wore silver fog pigment and black tied on the eye with fun and games on top as a highlighter and lavender whip and fast friends on top. it was sooo cute.

  7. For the eyeshadow, I would pair them with any pink eyeshadow (Sweet Lust, Swish or DaBling) all over the lid and lower lashline, Passionate or Sushi Flower in the crease and Nylon for highlight. For liner, the Rapid Black penultimate liner, plushlash mascara, Fascinating Khol Liner on the water line. For the lips, Strayin’ lipstick and Nice Kitty lipglass. I would also apply Pretty Baby beauty powder over Tippy to tone it down.

  8. Hanna

I like using dark colors such as a plum base color all over the lid and a black shadow (such as Stylin’) on the crease. They eyeliner will be thick as well as winged out and the lashes dramatic. The lip I would use Pink Fish TLC as a base and over it with a peachy pink such as Cutester.

  9. DevilishDoll

Never actually tried this look, but it sounds cool:
Lark About Pigment on lid, Too Dolly and Stylin Eyeshadows on lid, Stately Black Eyeshadow in crease, Nylon to highlight, Stylin on lower lashes with Girl Groove Glitter Eyeliner on top, Feline Kohl Power on waterline. Tippy on cheeks, Fashion Mews lipstick on lips with maybe Nice Kitty or some other pink gloss on top.

personally i have been using it everyday since i got it with just mascara, eyeliner, and she loves candy l/g

  11. Stephanie

i think something purple, like parfait amour would look cute with this blush. I can’t wait for my tippy blush to arrive so I can actually try some of these looks out!

  12. MY

When I was at the MAC store to pick up Tippy, the MA suggested pairing it with Fun & Games and it really looked quite different. It looked a little more coral. She applied Fun & Games first and then Tippy

  13. IZzySA

I caved and bought the Tippy too — another add on to my pinks. I contoured my face with Emotion (K.Aucoyn stuff is great too but I don’t want to open it yet!). Eyes in a Linen Taupe ES/Apres ski/Deep Grey eye contour and and — false eyelashes and a Sheisheido Lippie in very soft pink from the new coll. No liner… I love this look too:)

  14. Susie

tippy with strayin lipstick and bitter eyeshadow with old gold pigment. Apply black tied to the outer corner and define the crease.

    Color color color!

  15. Imelda

Lovelorn lipstick would match well! grayish eyeshadows too.

  16. I never really thought much of tippy because of the color. It’s a little too pink for my liking but if I were to wear this, I’d probably wear it on the apples of my cheeks with a very light hand and use deeper shade (maybe Lovejoy?) on my cheek bone area.

Im going to wear this a lot in the coming months! Tomorrow Im going to wear it with winged Blacktrack liner, lot of L’oreal Voluminous Mascara, and Strayin on the lips. I want to finish the lips with Nice Kitty lipglass. I want to wear this blush all the time. Its so pigmented! I thnk this shade Will look especially great with blues on the eyes. My next look Im planning with this will be Delft paint pot on lid, Sketch in the crease. Winged out navy liner in Waveline and Parfait Amour smudged underneath lash line. Tippy blush on cheeks and maybe Popmode lipglass.

Hmm.. Maybe a good simple face. Foundation and concealer if needed, a little bronzer to contour the cheeks and add a warm glow. Then, add the Tippy blush just on the apples of the cheeks. Black eyeliner smudged with warm black-brown shadow and blended into the top lids, and black mascara just on the top lashes. Use pencil or powder to color, fill and shape the brows, add a little light pink lip stain to the lips and you’ve got a simple spring/summer look!
