Well, I did go out and buy it after you reviewed it. : ) And I’ve worn it with flawless skin (I need foundation and powder for that), a little bit of pale shimmery blush, nude eyeshadow from lashes to brow (like MAC Blanc Type or Naked Pigment for some shimmer), very groomed brows and a couple of coats of black mascara. And I got lots of compliments even though I was completely stepping outside my comfort zone with those firey lips!

I usually wear it with a champagne or gold e/s (very nude for me!) and a pinky sheer blush, black mascara, no liner, groomed brows (but I always groom them anyways). It’s a very classic look and I get lots of compliments on it (even at work).

Even though I do not have Red Dragon, I do have this product in Coromandel, which is a orange-based red. I think a very vintage 50s look is totally perfect with red shades like Red Dragon and Coromandel. So, I would start with flawless skin like Rebecca stated above. Then I would use Too Faced Shadow Insurance all over my eyelids, then apply MAC’s Paint Pot in Painterly. Then I would apply MAC’s Yogurt eyeshadow on my lower lids and MAC’s Mylar on the browbone. After that, I would put on black liquid liner using my MAC 208 brush for a classic cat-eye liner look. In addition, I would also use a brow pencil and MAC Brow set in Clear to enhance brows. To finish, I would apply Chanel Red Dragon paired with MAC lip pencil in Cherry.

  5. Instead of doing the classic (as it first popped to mind) with a black eyeliner, bright eyes and a modest amount of blush in some discrete colour – I found some inspiration from a picture of Hilary Duff in The Reach Out video.

A look created by Rachel Goodwin where she uses seemingly golden and bronze for the eyes, black mascara, hightlighting cheeks and adding some pink, tan(orange?!) blush.
I’ve wanted to try this look out for soo long but I’ve never gotten around to it.

flawless face, very faint wash of pink blush, very neutral eye, like Painterly with a very light brown in the crease, cat eyes, lots of mascara.

i still need this lippy! i’d personally wear it with light grey/pearl shimmering eyeshadow and black mascara. and a fresh base, light foundation and loose powder.

  10. I wore it with Macs Shroom shadow, white liner in the inner corners, and Macs Black Russian pencil on lid and waterline, with a few coats of Lancomes Hypnose Drama mascara. On the face, just MUFE HD foundation, bronzer, and a bit of powder to set. I love Dragon!

    (pardon the work uniform!)
