If you were using Urban Decay’s Honey eyeshadow, what look would you create with it? What shadows would you use? What would you use on cheeks? Anything added to the lips?
Create a look using whatever you want, as long as you include Honey! Feel free to share links to photos of your look(s) using it in the comments.

This is actually my favorite gold eyeshadow ever. I wear it with dark brown shadows like Mulch and Coco Beach; on the cheeks: Nars Sertao and Outlaw, and Shimpagne MSF to highlight; lips: MAC Spice pencil and Amber Russe Lipgelee. I also wear it with the Tempt Me quad with Ruby Darling lipstick. I also wear it with Blitz & Glitz as a base and Make Up Store’s Microshadow in Jubilee for a dramatic black gold look. The possibilities are endless!

It is such a pretty color, though I don’t own it, I’ve drooled over it many times. Great combos!

it looks amazing all over the lid with a little bit of a bright emerald green in the inner crease and corner. i think the bright green from UD is called crash.

i have honey and use it with UD deluxe shadows in scratch, shag and underground for a neutral metallic eye. I usually use MAC Warmed MSF and a light pink blush. I finish with a light pink gloss.

Honey is great as an accent color or just by itself and it works for both light and dark skin tones (i’ve put it on a friend many times). as an accent color, i pair it with UD’s Graffiti (the emerald green) with graffiti all over the lid and honey on the inner corners, also, with fishnet (fuschia) on the inner corners as well.
using honey with UD’s transforming potion makes it look like liquid gold.
now for the bold, i do what my friends and i call “rainbow vomit” with UD’s deluxe shadows. working from the outer corner in, start with adore (dark blue), then graffiti followed by honey, and finally fishnet on the inner corner. remember, your eyelid is a small space for four colors (5 if you wear eyeliner) and i never go past the crease. i, personally, am not one for eyeshadow on the brow bone. if you feel you need to wear eyeliner to make the look complete, i use MAC shadow in black tied with UD’s wonder brush. using shadow as a liner gives it that softly lined look without imposing on the colors.
that’s all the fun i’ve had with honey (so far) and if you can’t tell, yes, i’m a UD whore, thanks to a friend of mine. :D
as for blush, well i don’t wear any. i just wear warmth from bareminerals. i dab on just a little bit of MAC’s tinted lipglass in pink lemonade (it’s such a strong shade of pink and i have a fair complexion so a little goes a long way).

I’ve mixed it with so many things! I have a lot of gold shadows, but Honey is by far my favorite! It’s a really brilliant, true gold. It actually blends well with blues and teals, if you can believe it! It’s just a gorgeous color, and works well almost anywhere!

I would put honey on the inner half of my eye then MAC Parrot on the outer half then MAC Prankster on the outer crease. Then UD Graffiti on the lower lashline & finish the look with black eyeliner on the water line and black mascara. :)

I usually mix the honey shade with underground because I love the golden look on my skin tone which is milk chocolate. and I pair it with goldnsoft lipgelee from MAC. some days I do the honey on my lids and fishnet very lightly under my eyebrow..sounds weird but i liked the outcome of my lil experiment lol.

I bought this e/s last year and so far it is my favorite gold e/s. I like to wear this with Rubenesque p/p as base then UD Honey, then Amber Lights, Smoke Signal piggy and Sketch. It is also great paired with Bronze eyeshadow.

Another call for Romp! Really need to get this, hopefully if I can remember on Thursday.
What brush do you use to tightline?

I like using Laura Mercier’s Flat Eyeliner brush. There’s one by Smashbox that’s quite good as well.

I have Honey, and I gotta say, I love it to death.
I just wore it today with a cat-eyed black liner.
Though occasionally, I’ve gone pretty intricate with it. I’ve blended it into Zero, putting Zero on the outer corner, of course. One of my favorite looks, though, was pairing it up with Honey on the inner corner, Graffiti on the outer corner, black liquid liner on top, and 24/7 liner in Electric on the water line.
I’m so sad I didn’t take pictures!
