Look Book – What would you pair Pink Quartz Shimmerbrick with?
Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

If you were using Bobbi Brown’s Pink Quartz Shimmerbrick, what look would you create with it? What shadows would you use? What would you use on cheeks? Anything added to the lips?
Create a look using whatever you want, as long as you include Pink Quartz! Feel free to share links to photos of your look(s) using it in the comments.
You know...you can get one just like this with the same shimmer and better by physicians formula>>> i have it and it's phenomenal!!! Just an FYI
i've always wondered about shimmerbricks. are they like msfs? is the color payoff good enough to be eyeshadows? i mean can you do an entire eye look from these?
They are similar to MSFs, and depending on the shimmerbrick, you can get a great eye look out of them, though they are going to be a frost finish for a shadow.
I don't have this but it looks very pretty. I think I would put it on top of Bobbi Brown's apricot blush to make it look more shimmery.
Cheeks: I would use this over Dame or UD Fetish Eyes: Tightlined with Blactrack, Seedy Pearl/Charred/Knight Divine eye shadow, lots of Plushlash mascara Lips: Dior Denim Rose gloss over MAC Dervish pencil
Yes, I use it as a highlighter. I'm not a huge fan of Shimmerbricks - this was a gift (I would never have bought this for myself!) and I experimented with it until I found it was best as a highlighter (face and eyes).
I always use Pink Quartz SB in the evening over blush (for instance MAC Fab or BB Pale Pink) for aa added glow. In daytime I prefer a more matte look. I wear smoky eyes and pale, shimmery lips with that. I have all of BB´s shimmer bricks, and this is one of my favorites along with Gold and Brownie. They can also be used as eyeshadows!
Oh Christine...this made me sad!!! The Pink Quartz sold out everywhere before I could get my hands on it!!
I bought mine because of the "craze" and I haven't been able to create a nice enough look from it... I'm kinda regretting my purchase now because I could've gotten something better with that kind of money but everyone kept saying how good it was and it was selling out everywhere. I'm just a LE victim... oh god.
