This duo is super – bright and beautiful.
I’d combine it with my just ordered BB Retro Pink Creamy Lip Color,
and a dust of MAC Springsheen blush!

I’m actually wearing this today with light color on lid, darker purple in the crease and MAC Vellum as a brow highlight. I have Nars Dolce Vita blush on my cheeks…currant lipliner with Pervette l/s and Funtabulous d/g on my lips.

    I keep it simple:
    - a light pink base like NARS Penelope or Pearl Beach
    - NARS Abyssinia as highlight on the browbone
    - the lighter matte purple on the lid
    - the darker plummier purple in the outer corner & lower liner
    - black upper liner
    - NARS Sin blush
    - NARS Canaille lipstick
    - NARS Supervixen lip gloss

    i;d wear this as a dramatic evening look;

the deeper shade all over lid
the lighter shade in the crease and winged out with a gradient/blended effect.
a highlight shade on browbone (any pearly white or nude shade)
a gel liner like cobalt ink by bobbi brown – applied thick with a wing – a retro 60s style!
lashings and lashings of diorshow blackout mascara or if you want – falsies (which i personally don’t like)

on cheeks you can wear some taos blush as contour and soft and gentle mac msf as a highlighter and avoid apples of cheeks to keep the drama on the eyes.

a quick dab of rags to riches dazzleglass on lips.

i’m brunette with hazel eyes and can honestly say this look will look better on blondes, i suit browns and greens more!

    anyway…

    et voila! xxx

I have this duo and absolutely loveeeee it!
I wear the matte shade on my lid with the shimmery shade in the crease, and i also darken the outer crease with a little Carbon by mac.
If i feel like it that day I line my lower lash line with pearl glide liner in Rave.
I use my poor discontinued Mac blush in Cute and finish with some sort of lipglass; lately I’ve been using Cultureclash.

    Jolie Poupee = <3

Honestly I own NO Nars E/S or blushes, yes I know; no rock throwing at me LMAO!

  7. Jackie says:

I like the matte shade on my lid witht he shimmery shade in the crease, along w/NARS Night Fever in the crease (I think thats the name, its the black w/red pearl). I use MAC Dazzlelight to highlight. NARS Deep Throat blush w/MAC Petticoat MSF. And some bright pink lips. MAC Hot Gossip with Flashmode l/g (I got that combo from you and its my new fave).

  8. I’d probably do a dark, smoky purple eye.

Christine, have you done a look with Jolie Poupee? If not, what are you waiting for! Can’t wait to see your take on the colors.

This is my favorite duo of ALL time!

Wow, thanks to everyone for the ideas! I just tried to use mine a few days ago and it was a hot mess – looked like I had a purple mask over my eyes or something…I couldn’t get it right :-( Now I have more ideas of how to wear it. Thanks!

I absolutely love this duo. Whenever I’m feeling in a rut, I always turn to it. I put MAC Swish on the inner third, fade it into the matte lavender, then put the darker purple in the outer third/crease. I put the lavender on my lower lashline, then Well Dressed blush and any lipstick I’m feeling at the moment (I love it with Saint Germain!)
