Look Book – What would you pair MAC Charred eyeshadow with?

Posted in: Look Book

If you were using MAC Charred eyeshadow, what look would you create with it? What shadows would you use? What would you use on cheeks? Anything added to the lips?

Create a look using whatever you want, as long as you include Charred! Feel free to share links to photos of your look(s) using it in the comments.

Oooh! Absolutely gorgeous. Thanks so much for the pictures. Really helps in deciding whether to buy charred and how to apply it if you already own it!

That’s really pretty. I wish I had Milady. I need a good red.

Can Milady be repalced by Mythology or Coppering?

I replace it with Coppering. I wanted to re-create a look Christine did and she told me to use Coppering instead of the red part of Mi’Lady.

Toss in a touch of Passionate to really rev up Coppering :)

Mi’lady’s red isn’t THAT great, IMO. If you use it wet, it’s better than dry… but I use Coppering with a dash of Passionate – both are permanent colors.

    I would use:

    Mac Vanilla pigment

Nars Silvana Blush + Nars Chelsea girls lacquer

I would pair it with a peachy pink lip and cheek and some vanilla highlight.

    or

    charred in crease
blue brown pigment on lid and vanilla on eyebrow highlight.

    So many options!

Oohh! I wouldn’t think to use it with Blue Brown, but that isn’t a bad idea!

I want Charred. I think it would look nice in a smoky eye with pink cheeks & nude lips.

    Thunder
    Black Tied to line
    Plush lash in Black

    Plum Foolery on cheeks

    Dark Side on lips

You could use Expensive Pink for something a tad less drastic, or combine with Cranberry for something more flashy.

I now LOVE the look book! Seriously, now I know how to try and make use of Parrot and I’m so buying Charred! Keep these look books coming (esp. with the new collections e/s, its a double edged sword–makes me buy more e/s but I so want these!) lol

Naomi—I love how you’re showing us pics for looks you’ve done (I’ve seen with Charred and with Parrot)–you are also helping to make decisions and buy more! Thanks!!!
