I’m a MAC newbie/ makeup moderate (hehe), so I’ll just share an idea: since Dear Cupcake is more soft/pastel, you can combine it with other soft/pastel shades in blue, yellow and purple for a soft rainbow eye. (I tried it with a neutral base and no eyeliner…kinda minimalist but very fresh and interesting)

I have Dear Cupcake and here’s what I did the last time I wore it: I wore it over Red Velvet shadestick all over my lid to just above my crease, I blended a purple e/s shade from Coastal Scents 88 Original palette in the crease, and I put Aquavert on the inner eyelid, and wore Femme Fi e/s as my highlight. I wore Tippy blush and Sweet Thing lipstick with just on the center of my lips.

I wore it yesterday with MAC Dreammaker (highlight & inner corner), Romping (crease), Bare Study (base) and Dear Cupcake (lid). Moon River and Earth to Earth on cheek, with a bit of the Earth to Earth highlighter on nose, chin, forehead and just at the top of the cheekbone. Lastly Cutester lipstick.

  11. UDPP on lid (nothing shimmery)
    Dear Cupcake on lid
Nocturnelle in crease and outer 1/3
    Blacktrack fluidline to define!

    Looks very pretty and simple!

I really like to put it over a base on the entire lid, then blend it out into swish in the crease. It creates a really cute fading pink effect. For a more dramatic one I like contrasting it with vibrant grape =)
