I actually just got this palette in the mail yesterday and I just KNEW I needed to use half-truth today. I started with primer potion and a super sheer layer of tainted on the whole eye. Next I put omen on just the lid. Finally I put half-truth in the crease and outer bit of the lid (like a sideways “v”) and blended. I used urban decay liquid liner in retrograde on my top lid and the very edge of my bottom lid. I blended half-truth into the liner on my bottom lid and then lined the rest of the way with it.

  2. I used it with Omen from the same palette here:

Excuse the pics, I was doing a primer experiment. I used Half Truth a in the outer third of the lid and a little into the crease…I love my purples!

I wore this last night, as my main lid color over NYX Black Bean, blended out w/ Buck from my Naked palette, used Blackout on the outer V and crease and used Vanilla on the inner corner of the eye. Loved it!

I would use UD Rockstar eyeshadow from the Book Of Shadows 3, in the crease, Half-truth all over the lid, and UD Virgin from the Naked Palette in the inner corner and as a highlight.

Bronzy peach blush (Benefit’s Dallas), and a nude lip (MAC’s High Tea)

smoked out with a darker plum or dark grey in the crease, black eyeliner all around like cat eyes, mascara, with bronzer on the cheeks and pale nude lips

I wore Half-Truth this weekend in my crease over a wash of Omen, and Tainted as a highlighter. I got a lot of positive comments on it. :)

Deep purple smokey eye, with the rest of my face quite neutral.

    MINE IS ARRIVING TODAY, YAY!

I have Half Truth my crease today with Omen on the lid, Tainted as a highlight, black out in the outer v & Vanilla in the tear duct. LOVE IT!!

When I received this palette in the mail yesterday, the first thing I did was play around with this color. I used Half Truth all over the lid followed by omen just over the center of the eyes. I used Flow as an inner corner highlight and Vanilla on the browbone.

I actually wore a look using Half-Truth today:

    Eye:

Primed w/ UDPP and Mac Painterly PP
    UD Midnight 15 on lid
UD Vanilla as brow/inner corner highlight
UD Half Truth in crease, and smudged just a little on lower lashline
Lined w/ Mac Macroviolet Fluidline on upper lid.

    Cheek:
    Mac MSF in Pink Power

    Lip:
    Some random drugstore nude lipliner
Mac kissable lipcolor in Woo Me

I’m loving this palette! So many different ways to combine and mix all the colors! I am loving reading about how other people are experimenting with it!!

  11. With Print, Typographic and Vex, Blushbaby or Warm Soul and a peachy cream lipstick.

  12. I wore this last night actually! I applied midnight 15 on my inner corner and 1/4 of the way on my lid. Then I applied chase on the middle of my lid and half truth into my crease and outer v. then i applied a little bit of blackout underneath the half truth to darken by outer v a little bit.

I used it this week all over the lid, with omen in the crease and blackout in the outer V, I think it looked great!

I just got this palette today and haven’t had a chance to try any more than one look but for fall, I’d pair Half Truth with a matte grey shadow like Concrete – Half truth on the lid and into the crease with the matte grey shadow to darken the crease. MAC Vapour or Blanc Type for a highlight and inner corner. Desert Rose Blush and Plumful on the lips. I’d be happy for ANY suggestions on what to do with JUNKSHOW….I don’t usually wear pink shadows unless they are very light but I’d love to know how to use this without looking like I have irritated skin above my eyes.

I would wear Half-Truth across the lid with a dark navy eyeliner along the top lashline and lots of mascara. Finish with a glossy coral lip. I love this shade, it reminds me of a big city skyline.

My palette just came today and my eyes went ooh, ahhh over Half-Truth. I should have ordered 2 of these. I used Half Truth today with my fav primer (Garden Botanika).Next I layered a really fanned out, sheer layer of Cowboy on my lid. Next I put Truth in the V extending it to the upper crease, but it was not right. So I blended Truth really super sheer into Cowboy all over the lid and had a shaded, gradient all one shade look going. It ended up smokey and great looking! I lined with Bobbi Brown black gel liner top and bottom with Midnight Cowboy liner on the inner corners to brighten that dark area of the inside corner of one’s eye. I used Tarte Champagne Amazonian Clay power provocutier under my brow and on the top of my cheekbones,

i would do a purple smokey eye with half truth in the crease and omen from the same palette on the lid with blackout on the outer v.

I have half-truth on my lids with buck in the crease and sin as a highlight. (dislike wearing 5 or 6 eyeshadows to achieve a look)

There is a tutorial on youtube using this color if u want to go check it out. just type in 15 year anniversary palette turotial. She used it with Junkshow, which is how i also used mine.

Off the wall question – Hey, does anyone feel anything strange about the brand Urban Decay? Like, is the owner into witchcraft or anything? I just have alwys had a weird feeling about the brand. Even the makeup colors look semi-spooky – YES i wear pinks and purples, blues and neutrals all the time bu the the way the 15 year aniversary palette shades look on me, make me look spooky. That blue especially, hs a dark hidden undertone to it. But is the company based on witchraft or anything evil like that???? When i look at the UD logo, and the designs, and the primer bottle is shaped like a potion botltle… ????

I wore this today. Midnight 15 on the inner half of the lid…Deep End on the outer half…Half Truth in the crease and outer v. Stila Smudgstick Stingray on the water line, Stila liquid liner in Sequins on the upper lash line, and a purple UD liner (can’t remember the name) on the lower lashes. Loved it!

  22. I wear Omen all over my lid then Half Truth on the outer corner of my eyes.. Gorgeous colors together!!!!!!

I did a tutorial using these two colors just in case you want to check it out — http://bit.ly/Urban15

  23. Again as a part of a smokey eye.
It is the easiest way to get away with using colours you are unsure of I think. Just add them into a smokey eye somehow and you can test the colour out without committing to that one colour :)
