I would wear this palette as an everyday eye look.

I love this palette! I’m fond of using sexy and stubborn together, or sexy and snobby.

  3. Lids:
    UD Primer Potion
Stand-offish on the inner corner and just under the brow
Schitzo, Silly, and Sexy on the lid and blend!
Blanc type on the brow-bone for an all over highlight
    et… voila! :)
It’s a little darker but goes well on tan skin with warm undertones (my skin!)

I would also use stand-offish on the cheekbone. Try it out!

I have to write this all over again because I deleted it…

I would wear Snobby all over the lid and Stand-offish in the outer corner. Maybe, I’d use some Sultry in the crease, but I don’t think so. I would use Sassy as a highlighter and Serious or Sleek as a smudged liner. On the lower lashline, I would also wear Snobby and Stand-offish. I would keep the rest of the face quite natural.

If I were to use the Balm nude palette, I would wear it in the following way:
    1. Sassy (white) – dab slightly in the inner corners (this helpds to make the shimmery “Stand-offish” pinkish colors stand out more)
    2. Stubborn over the lid
    3. Selfish towards the outer ends of the lid and crease and blend into Stubborn. Also a little bit in the lower lash line (just half of it towards the end).
    4. Sophistication : A touch of it at the outer corer for definition but not too obvious…and blend. Slight bit in the lower lash line.
    5. Stand-offish: A bit on the centre of the lid (for hilighting it a bit) and in the inner corners (so the white doesnt show any more).
    6. Snobby: Over the crease above “Snobbish” towards the browbone (this is for blending it out).
    7. Sassy: Hilight the browbone, blending into snobbish (so its not too obvious).

    Lighter Look:
Rim the upper lash line with Black Kohl/pencil liner (I prefer MAC), curl lashes and apply mascara (preferably MAC’s Houte & Naughty – The lighter one) on the lashes.

    Evening Look:
    1. Black Kohl or pencil eyeliner: Line the upper lash line – very thin lines. Flick it out a bit towards the ends.
    2. Serious shade: Apply this shade over the pencil liner – again very thin lines.
    3. Flesh tone or White eye liner pencil: Rim the lower waterline.
    3. Mascara: Curl Lashes and Apply MAC Haute and Naughty (thicker one) or MAC Zoom Lash on the Lashes for a bold effect. Add Falshe lashes if required (uually wouldn’t considering the effect of these mascaras!)

For a super simple look I’d go for Stand-offish in the inner corner and browbone, snobby on the lid, sultry on the crease. Add a bit of light mascara and I’m done!

I love playing with colors… I guess that’s why I use way too many shadows? lol oh well

    Thanks :)

oh btw I have Oliv-ish tan skin around nc 20 or something ( i keep changing because of the sun LOL!)…and dark hair!

  7. MegODowd

Sexy in the crease, sultry on the lid, and stand-offish in the tear duct and on the brow bone for a night out would be gorgeous.

  8. Miriam

Sultry all over the lid, sexy in the outter 1/3 of the lid, sleek in the outter v blended softly into the crease, snobby as a highlighter.

  9. Marisa

I’m trying to decide between this and the UD Naked palette. (I’m medium skin, dark brown eyes and hair.) Which one would you pick? I can’t decide!

  10. I would definitely combine stand-offish, schitzo and sexy. Think they’d look great together!
Selfish might look great with UD Half Baked, MAC Humid or MAC Deep Truth…

  11. I love this palette because it’s easy to be neutral with and also just as easy to smoke out. I did a few looks here:

I am waiting for mine to come it, I ordered from Hautelook last week! I am excited to try everyone’s look suggestions :)

  13. Stacey

Sexy is an AMAZING crease color! One of the best shadows Ive ever used. So All week Ive been wearing
    Schtizo on Lid
Stubborn and standoffish mixed as innercorner highlight and to blend crease up
and Sexy in crease and as liner
    Beautiful!

  14. I love this palette so much, but one of my favorites looks are:
Sassy all over the brow bone and inner corner of the eye (tear duct)
Stand-offish on the first half of lid
Selfish on the other half of lid
Schitzo for blending along the crease line
    Sophisticated blended in the crease
Silly to darken the outer corner and bring under the lower lash line.

  15. I just received the palette today.. I ordered it from hautelook 50% off
I am in love with this palette.. I love it more then any mac eyeshadow that I own, UD (i have quite a few palettes) even better then my dior quints (I have few of those too)
Can not wait to create different looks with it.. today I wore stand-offish 3rd of the lid, selfish outer lid, sultry on the crease, sexy and silly in outer v… I am loving it!!

I am going to check if you have any other thebalm eyeshadow reviews!!! TY
