Use your feminine wiles and dazzle a crowd in a smattering of lilac and mauve, like the LOVELY LADY you are.

With an eyeshadow brush, apply a light, slightly iridescent opal all over the lid. In the middle third of the lid, lightly pat on a subdued pinky-mauve shade with a fluffy brush. On the outer third of the lid, blend a toned-down violet-mauve with a fluffy eyeshadow brush. Using a tapered crease brush, lightly blend the color into the crease Define the crease with a small, tapered crease brush and tap a rich, violet-berry shade into the crease to add depth. Highlight the brow bone with a soft, lightly pinked highlighter shade, and then line upper/lower lash line (as desired) with dark shade of chocolate brown. For complementing cheeks, try slightly cool-toned pink cheeks then dusting a light touch of pink or lilac shimmer to highlight. Finish the look with lip colors in cool and warm pinks, pinky-purples, fuchsias, berries, or vampy shades for best results.

Hmm…I was thinking of another combination that would work, Pink Opal, Swish, Parfait Amour, Contrast, maybe Crystal or Vellum, and not sure about eyeliner, I would probably use a purple one since I don’t have many eyeliners. I’m sure there are a lot of different eyeshadows that could work for this look. I definitely wanna try it.

    • That’s another great way to do it! I definitely would say there are plenty o’ MAC shadows to do this with since they have SO many purple shades!

  2. Wow! This is a gorgeous one! It reminds me SO MUCH of the colors from the pallets that came out at Christmas, you know? The one with colors like “Bon Fete” and “Feast”? 3 of the colors were more rosy purples, and the other 3 were more blueish purples, and I always wondered how to mix the two, but this is a perfect example!!!
