Use a softly pinked highlighter like Hush and blend it just above the crease. Highlight the brow bone with your favorite neutral highlighter.

2. Mix in aquas and teals! Apply Stars ‘n Rockets eyeshadow on the inner two-thirds of the lid with an eyeshadow brusgh like the 239. Cover the outer third of the lid with an aqua shade like Aquadisiac eyeshadow with the 239. Darken the crease with a deeper teal like Shimmermoss eyeshadow or mix it up with a blue shade like Freshwater. Use Gorgeous Gold eyeshadow to diffuse color towards the brow bone, and then highlight with your favorite neutrla highlighter.

3. As an accent to gold! First, apply Goldmine eyeshadow all over the lid over a gold or white base. Apply Stars ‘n Rockets eyeshadow with a fluffy brush like the 224 on the outer third of the lid. Deepen crease with Nocturnelle eyeshadow applied with a crease brush like the 219. Blend thoroughly with a fluffy blending brush like the 217. Highlight with your favorite neutral highlighter.

4. With silvers! Try applying a bright silver like Fineshine or Electra eyeshadow all over the lid, and then apply Stars ‘n Rockets eyeshadow on the outer third of the lid and into the crease. wow just when I was starting to realize I should do pinks more often. I love this color and wear it just straight all the time so today I used wintersky all over my lid and then brightened it up a tad with a bit of post haste, shadowy lady in crease and brow and I put stars n rockets over the shadowy lady and it was sooooo pretty. :)

Hi Christine, Would it possible for you to put ‘__ ways to wear ___’ under a special category, so that it would be easy to come back to. I am planning to use your helpful ideas when I get stuck with the color combinations.

  13. Awesome ideas!! I have done All That Glitters all over the lid, Stars N Rockets in the crease, deepened the crease with Shadowy Lady and used Sugarshot as highlight.

  14. Bettina

Oh that’s a pretty idea I may have to try one day Jacquelyn that is if you don’t mind me borrowing your idea. :)

  15. Saira

Great ideas! I really like these posts, as they give me some inspiration for new looks!

I really like using Stars N’Rockets on the lid (over Girl Friendly paint pot as a base), with Fig 1 in the crease and then a neutral highlighter like shroom on the browbone. I also really like it with Urban Decay Green Goddess (like Mac Steamy, I think). I like either using Stars N’Rockets on inner lid, UD Green Goddess on mid-outer lid and Humid in crease or the other way around, with UD Green Goddess on inner lid, Stars N’Rockets on mid-outer lid and a purplish colour in the crease.

This is great! Stars and Rockets was one of the first eyeshadows I ever bought, but I never know how to use it! These ideas will surely breathe some life into this eyeshadow for me : )

Stars n’ Rockets is one of the first shadows I ever bought! I used it to create this awesome look:

So, I did use purple and teal with it!!!!
I used Violet pigment, Gulf Stream eyeshadow, Fascinating eyeliner, and I’d use Yogurt eyeshadow the next time I try it! :)

ar the 8 ways to wear cranberry and sumptuous olive still around someplace on this site? Or did that ship sail long ago without me??

  19. Bettina

here are some interesting ideas I found in this site that somebody created for pairing MAC eyeshadows together…huge list in there but here’s a few from the Stars n Rockets catagory.

Woodwinked & Stars N’ Rockets e/s are gorgeous paired together! I wore WW on lid w/ SnR in crease, highlighted w/ Goldbit & lined w/ Blitz & Glitz lightly & it’s so pretty!!!
    Stars n Rockets & Aquadisiac w/ Parrot.
Seedy Pearl, Stars n Rockets & Nocturnelle.
Li’Lily + Stars & Rockets + Kiss Me Purple Mascara look hot together.
    Stars ‘n Rockets w/ Moon’s Reflection.
Stars N Rockets all over the lid & Satellite Dreams in the crease.
Crystal Avanlanche in inner corners & brow bone, Satelitte Dreams in outer corner, Stars n Rockets in crease, Uncomformist fluidliner as liner.

so I gotta say I had been thinking of mixing a pink with silver ring for a something different, thenI wondered if it would come out looking too disco or to 80’s but today I tried the combo I read above about mixing silver ring and stars n rockets and putting parfait amour in the crease….have to say I kinda love it and it may have been just the right new idea for a combo I was looking for. :)

Stars N’ Rockets is also a duochrome and when its put over a black base it come out like a different color, its great thats how i wear mine all the time, ALSO Fishnet by Urban Decay is an exact dupe of it, plus you get more product and a creamier smoother product with UD.
