Catrice Warm Embrace 3D Glow Highlighter ($6.99 for 0.1 oz.) is a medium, peachy gold with warm undertones and a luminous finish. It had good color coverage that built up to full coverage with less than a layer on top. The consistency was incredibly soft, finely-milled, and felt like a cream-powder hybrid that had the smoothness and slip of the cream but the ease of powder. The powder applied well to my skin, blended out effortlessly, and didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture. This shade wasn’t quite as metallic as the other two shades in the line-up but could be intensified by adding a second layer. It wore well for eight hours on me before it started to fade visibly.

The formula is supposed to have "strong pigmentation" with a "creamy-soft powder texture" and designed without "any white pigments" to work on "especially" on "medium to dark skin tones." The most remarkable aspect about the formula was that "creamy-soft" texture--it was incredibly finely-milled, cream-like, and looked like the baked-gelee kind of formula but was much softer, more loosely-pressed without being powdery or dry. All three shades had good pigmentation, a superb texture, and applied beautifully to my skin. They yielded a more metallic, high-shine finish that didn't emphasize my skin's natural texture. They lasted around eight to nine hours on me before fading noticeably.

Catrice Icy Glaze 3D Glow Highlighter ($6.99 for 0.1 oz.) is a bright platinum–a cross between silver and pale gold, though leaning ever-so-slightly more silver to my eye. It had nearly opaque pigmentation paired with a smooth, creamy texture that felt rich and luxurious to the touch. The highlighter was easy to diffuse and spread for sheerer coverage or brought to full coverage with less than a half of a layer more on top of the first layer. It had an intense, metallic finish that didn’t accentuate my skin’s natural texture. This shade lasted well for eight and a half hours on me before it started to show signs of fading.

It had rich, opaque color coverage that adhered well to bare skin with a smooth, even application. The powder spread easily across my skin and yielded a strong, metallic sheen that didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture. The texture was soft, lightly creamy, and denser–but not heavy or thick–and incredibly finely-milled. On my cheeks, the color stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before I noticed fading.

Catrice La Vie En Rose Illuminating Blush ($5.99 for 0.16 oz.) is a light-medium pink with warm undertones and a soft, satiny sheen. It had mostly opaque color payoff with a soft, lightly dusty texture that was very blendable but did sheer out a bit on the skin. I expect that lighter skin tones will find it easy to work with it, as the coverage was forgiving, but it may not have enough depth for deeper skin tones (I hope Catrice will consider adding deeper shades to their range!).

The Illuminating Blush formula is supposed to have a mix of “subtle shimmer” and a “light pearl” that adds color and a “soft glow” to the cheeks. Of the three shades that exist, I felt like this one was truest to that description, as the finish was soft, satiny but had a visible sheen overall. The blush started to fade after seven and a half hours on me.

Catrice Coral Me Maybe Illuminating Blush ($5.99 for 0.16 oz.) is a pop of light-medium pink-coral with warm undertones and fine, flecks of gold shimmer strewn on top of a more matte finish. It appeared more satiny on the skin, once I had a chance to blend and buff the powder onto my cheeks, but it definitely had a subtler finish, which would make it ideal for someone who doesn’t like a lot of noticeable shimmer in their cheek color.

The Illuminating Blush formula is supposed to have a mix of “subtle shimmer” and a “light pearl” that adds color and a “soft glow” to the cheeks. The consistency was soft but powdery, a little drier and looser overall, so it was prone to sheering out and was harder to build-up coverage from its naturally medium coverage level, but it was possible with three to four layers. I noticed fading around the edges after six and a half hours of wear.

I Am Nuts About You

Catrice I Am Nuts About You Illuminating Blush ($5.99 for 0.16 oz.) is a muted, light-medium peach with a hint of pink and a mostly matte finish. There were a few visible sparkles within the pan of powder to my eye, but it looked matte applied to the skin. I expect that this will work best on lighter skin tones and will not show up well on deeper skin tones due to the muted quality and lighter color. I am light-medium in color and get a hint of color, for reference.

The Illuminating Blush formula is supposed to have a mix of “subtle shimmer” and a “light pearl” that adds color and a “soft glow” to the cheeks. It had good color payoff, which was buildable from semi-opaque to opaque, but it was just on the lighter side of the spectrum. The upside is that it should be forgiving and easy to wear on even the fairest of skin tones, and the pink tinge will make it work across more undertones as well. The consistency was soft, a touch dusty, but blendable on the cheeks. On me, the color lasted for seven hours before fading noticeably.

Catrice’s Highlighting Powder is supposed to be “soft and velvety” that gives a “soft glow” to the skin and is available in two shades (I will review the other shade as well). The powder was soft and blendable with a lightly powdery consistency that kicked up excess product in the pan but did not look dry applied to the skin. It imparted a faint glowing finish that wasn’t metallic or shiny, so there were no issues with it emphasizing pores or my skin’s natural texture. It had good pigmentation that could easily be diffused or sheered out, if desired. The highlighter wore well for seven hours before fading on me. One thing I noticed is that it has a stronger, powdery smell to it.
