Artist Couture Conceited Diamond Glow Powder ($27.00 for 0.16 oz.) is a more muted, deeper gold with a warm, coppery base with a golden, metallic sheen that also had a dusting of golden sparkle. One layer of product had nearly opaque coverage with a moderate, shiny finish that was glowing, lightly shimmery but not in pore-emphasizing territory. A second layer built up the sheen to a more metallic finish that seemed to emphasize my skin’s natural texture just slightly.

The texture was soft, finely-milled and lighter-weight (so it could be messier if one isn’t familiar with working with loose powder) but had good adhesion and spread well across my skin. It stayed on nicely for seven and a half hours before fading a bit.

Formula Overview

$27.00/0.16 oz. - $168.75 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed have a buildable glow, so you can have a "subtle, luminous sheen" or build it up for an "intense, amplified look." They can also be applied to eyes and lips if desired. They appear to be opaque in promotional swatches and imagery, which was what I also found while testing; they were semi-opaque to opaque, though as a loose product, one could simply use the smallest amount to get something sheerer.

The powder was very finely-milled, which helped it spread well on bare skin and not emphasize my skin's natural texture. It seemed to have a shinier finish, while still being noticeably shimmery/sparkly, and the glow could be built up to intensely metallic if desired. I liked to pick up product on a tapered highlighting brush and gently swirl the brush on the underside of the lid, which helped to evenly distribute the product on my brush.

They wore between seven and eight hours on me before fading noticeably.

Artist Couture Yasss Diamond Glow Powder ($27.00 for 0.16 oz.) is a light, rosy copper with flecks of lavender and gold sparkle over a lightly, metallic finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer (obviously “layer” is as consistent as I can be as a human since it is a loose product!).

The texture was lightweight, finely-milled, and blendable with good adhesion to bare skin, though there was some product flyaway as I worked to pick it up from the jar as the powder itself was airier–thank goodness for sifters! (I’d even say to only open it a quarter of the way; I always tap out an excessive amount for photography.) The powder applied evenly to my skin, and it didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture but had a very shiny finish that looked almost wet. It lasted well for eight hours before fading a bit.

Artist Couture Gold Digger Diamond Glow Powder ($27.00 for 0.16 oz.) is a bright, white gold with a “cooler” gold sheen paired with a metallic finish. It seemed to have a transparent base, so it was more shimmer/pearl than it was base product. As a result, the color payoff was more semi-opaque and buildable, but at an angle, it read almost opaque based on the way it shimmered and reflected the light.

The consistency was soft, finely-milled, and lightweight, so it was a bit airy and more prone to flying away and was best opened by gently tapping it to settle the powder after shaking gently. The level of luminosity was buildable, as described, and was more of a light-to-moderate sheen in one layer and more metallic with a second layer, though neither level emphasized my skin’s natural texture. This shade lasted well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Artist Couture Sugar Daddy Diamond Glow Powder ($27.00 for 0.16 oz.) is an intense, light-medium copper with strong, warm undertones and a metallic, golden finish. It was richly pigmented in a single layer–a little of this shade went a long way–and seemed to be more pigmented than the other shades in the range.

The texture was soft, finely-milled, and blendable, but it was lighter-weight, so it was more prone to powder flyaway due to the loose format. I’d recommend gently tapping the brush against the product in the sifter, and then swirling the brush lightly on the lid’s underside to evenly distribute the product with less product loss. The product applied evenly to bare skin, but it did emphasize my skin’s natural texture slightly when worn at medium or higher coverage. It wore well for eight hours on me before showing signs of wear.

Artist Couture Illuminati Diamond Glow Powder ($27.00 for 0.16 oz.) is a light-medium, peachy gold with strong, warm undertones and a smooth, metallic sheen. The glow was designed to be buildable, so one layer yielded a high-shine, moderate glow, while a second layer went to full-on, intensely metallic and super shiny glow–very much as advertised.

The consistency was soft, finely-milled, and blendable on bare skin. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that had good adhesion and didn’t seem to emphasize my skin’s natural texture, though the loose format lends itself to loading up the brush for more coverage or going in with a lighter-hand for sheerer coverage. This particular shade had finer pearl and less sparkle compared to some of the shades in the range. It wore well for eight hours before showing signs of fading.

Artist Couture Coco Bling Diamond Glow Powder ($27.00 for 0.16 oz.) is a bright, slightly golden beige with a semi-translucent base packed with high-shine, reflective shimmer and sparkle that gave it a shiny, shimmery sheen. It had good color coverage in a single layer, which could be built up for full coverage as well as a more intense, more metallic glow. Even at more medium to semi-opaque coverage, it looked shiny enough that it looked wet!

The more translucent base should help it work more readily across a variety of skin tones, and it does help it layer over other products without drastically altering the base color (more additive). The consistency was finely-milled and soft, very lightweight so I’d recommend using a light hand and employing the sifter (which can be closed) to avoid getting too much product into the well for application. The highlighter applied evenly to bare skin and diffused well along the edges. It wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably on me.
