Anastasia Holiday 2017 Mini Liquid Lipstick Trio ($25.00 for 0.24 oz.) contains three, miniature-sized liquid lipsticks with two shades being new and exclusive to the set. They performed in line with the brand’s more recently released liquid lipsticks–pigmented, long-wearing, a bit drying–so if you’ve wanted to try the formula or typically enjoy it, the set is certainly worth considering as it offers a good amount of product for the price.

Dazed

Dazed is a bright, medium-dark plum with strong, warm red undertones and a matte finish. This shade is part of the permanent range, so it can be purchased on its own. It had opaque color payoff in a single layer. The texture was lightweight, smooth without being runny, and easy to control for even application on the lips, but it seemed a bit more prone to pulling into my lip lines. The liquid lipstick wore for over six hours and felt a touch drying after a few hours of wear.

Bittersweet

Bittersweet is a deep, reddish brown with soft, warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was smooth, fluid without being watery or too thin, and easy to spread across the lips for even coverage. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer and a moderately long dry down. I felt like it dried down for the most part within 15-30 seconds but the edges took a bit longer (2-3 minutes). The color stayed on well for over six hours and was slightly drying.

Hudson is a muted, medium peachy brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. The pigmentation was opaque in one layer, while the texture was smooth, not too thick or too thin, but it seemed to appear “thicker” on the lips compared to the other two shades. I had no trouble applying or spreading the color across my lips for even, opaque coverage. The dry down on this was a bit longer than the other two but nothing too long. It lasted for six hours and was slightly drying after five hours on me.
