Make Up For Ever Florals (Vol. 3) Artist Palette ($44.00 for 0.45 oz.) includes nine shades (all of the shades are also available individually in the permanent range). Two things worth noting: there are several repeats in this palette if you already own several of their past releases, and the amount of product in this is less than the last two volumes and $2 more. Oh, and there are, again, no matte shades. It’s such a shame that they’ve continued to repeat shades when they have 200+ shades in their range to choose from (see this sheet for repeats). If you haven’t picked up a lot of the brand’s palettes or singles previously, it IS a good palette overall — pigmented, long-wearing, and easy to use.

ME230 Peacock Blue is a muted, medium-dark blue with “warmer” tones and a frosted sheen. It is still a cool-toned shade, of course! It had good pigmentation, but it was as opaque as my permanent version (or other variations I’ve come across in their palettes), unfortunately. The texture was a little firmer, though still dense and blendable, and ultimately, when applied, it builds up easily and within two layers so the lack of pigmentation wasn’t noticeable.
