Hard Candy Launches @ Walmart Next Week!

In just one week, Hard Candy, a colorful, tempting and addictive cosmetic brand will be hitting the mass market shelve at the largest retailer in the world – Walmart. It’s the first time a prestige cosmetics collection has gone mass and features unique, specialty products.

Every season the fashion crowd is up and on the run, crazy for the fierce and sexy fun we’ve come to expect from designers Dan and Dean Caten, the Canadian twins who know how to pack a punch – and throw a party!

With their haute hi-jinx and body-beautiful clothes for boys and girls, a collaboration with M·A·C simply could NOT be avoided! “DSquared² and M·A·C are on the same trip!” says Dan. It starts with a strong, sooty, blackest-ever wild-child eye… a new Greasepaint Stick also in blue and violet versions, and Pro Gloss to create it. Neutral and perfected skin will get more drama with highlighting and low lighting from Sculpt and Shape Powders and the 165 Tapered Cheek/Highlight Brush all the better to achieve it. Kiehl’s to Launch Acai Organic Skin Care Line in September

In mid-september, Kiehl’s will unveil it’s first organic skin care line. The line has received approval from Ecocert and Cradle to Cradle.

“Since our inception, we have always been known for our service and for creating efficacious products,” said Salgardo, noting that everyone asks for “green” products, but still demand high performance. “We heard that our customers wanted organics, that they wanted paraben-free, that they wanted natural — and they wanted to focus on the first signs of aging. We went to the lab to do all that. The result: our new Açaí line.”
