The texture is incredibly dense and stiff in the tube, which makes it painful to apply as the color drags and skips on the lips. I would highly recommend taking the time to use a lip brush with this one to avoid agitating the lips during application, and it also combats the issue with the drier, thicker formula looking jagged along the edge. It had mostly opaque coverage and wore like iron (was still going strong after six hours), but I found it moderately drying over time.
