The formula is supposed to be long-wearing with 12-hour hydration, comfort, and feather-resistant and non-bleeding wear. They are supposed to have "one-swipe, full coverage colour."

It's a liquefied lipstick that has a smooth, creamy consistency with moderate glide and more of a velvety-creamy feel, so it was never watery but not overly thick. This is not a liquid lipstick that dries down to a matte finish after a few seconds (or even a minute); they have a creamier, moderate shine initially that wears down to satin and eventually semi-matte as they wear on. They don't "dry down," though, and as a result, they are very comfortable to wear. This also means that they are not transfer-proof, but they pack enough color that there is plenty of product and still full-coverage left behind after drinking and light eating.

They applied with full color coverage and went on evenly (for the most part) without emphasizing lip texture or lip lines. The wear-time claimed--12 hours--is a lot, but most shades lasted between six and eight hours with a few leaving enough stain and color behind not to require a reapplication. The lighter the shade, the shorter the wear time, which is common.

They were comfortable to wear with a moderately hydrating feel, and they are the type of liquid lipstick I tend to reach for--something longer-wearing but still very comfortable. As they are creamier and a little thicker, it's important to remove any excess from the inner areas of the lips or to apply less and build up as necessary or else they tend to show up on teeth initially. I didn't have this recur throughout wear, though. There was a faint, vanilla scent but no discernible taste.
