Classic Blossom

KKW Beauty Classic Blossom 10-Pan Eyeshadow Palette ($45.00 for 0.60 oz.) contains a mix of rose and red-tinged neutrals from pale peach to red to deep plum. While the texture of most of the mattes was incredibly silky, it did result in some powderiness and not all shades were richly pigmented–some were buildable and others definitely needed primer underneath them. The shimmer formula was inconsistent as some shades were quite nice to work with but a couple had room for improvement. Despite the shortcomings, it was one of those palettes that doesn’t seem to perform well looking at swatches alone but ended up being relatively easy to work with overall (the two deeper shades being more buildable made them more foolproof).

Chi

Chi is a light-medium, pink-coral with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had medium pigmentation that was hard to build up, even over a primer, as it was moderately powdery and prone to sheering out. I noticed some fading after seven hours of wear.

Baby

Baby is a light-medium brown with warm, orange undertones and a matte finish. It had an incredibly silky consistency that was very finely-milled but was somewhat powdery in the pan. It had nearly opaque pigmentation that was buildable on my skin, as it blended out well but didn’t lose its intensity (unless that was intended–like really blowing out the edges). This shade stayed on well for eight hours before it started to fade noticeably.

Samurai

Samurai is a medium-dark, rosy copper with warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. The consistency was slightly chunky to the touch, and it seemed to have a firmer press, which made it harder to pick up product with a brush without really pushing at the surface. There was some fallout when I applied it to my lid, though it blended out easily after pressing it onto my lid. It wore well for eight hours on me before it started to fade.
