J. Cat Beauty White Goddess You Glow Girl Baked Highlighter ($9.00 for 0.30 oz.) is a light, white gold with a cooler, whitish base paired with warmer, greenish-gold shimmer. The white base was more powdery, but it did not seem to be as present when blended and buffed onto my skin, though it may suit fairer complexions better due to the stronger white base.

The formula is described as a “multi-dimensional baked formula” that has “all day long” wear with an “intense shimmer pigment.” It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied evenly to bare skin and yielded a fairly metallic finish on the skin, though I did not feel like it emphasized my skin’s natural texture. The texture was powdery with a drier quality that made the shimmer seem like it separated from the powder itself. This shade wore well for six and a half hours on me.

(I know they have a “Pink Goddess” shade, but I feel like the current name wasn’t quite thought out and wish they had gone with “Pearl” or “Gold Goddess.”)

J. Cat Beauty Twilight You Glow Girl Baked Highlighter ($9.00 for 0.30 oz.) is a slightly muted, medium gold with warm, brown undertones and a sparkling finish. There were larger bits of sparkle strewn throughout the powder, which made for a rougher texture overall.

The formula is described as a “multi-dimensional baked formula” that has “all day long” wear with an “intense shimmer pigment.” It had medium, buildable pigmentation that blended out surprisingly well, given the chunks of sparkle in it. I noticed a moderate amount of the sparkles on my cheeks, so this might not be suitable for anyone averse to glitter. It had a more metallic sheen overall, but it did emphasize my pores slightly. This shade wore well for seven hours before fading.

J. Cat Beauty Pink Goddess You Glow Girl Baked Highlighter ($9.00 for 0.30 oz.) is a medium, rosy copper with warm, brown undertones and flecks of larger gold sparkle over a more frosted sheen. The looser sparkle did not translate too noticeably on the skin, and after buffing and blending, it had a luminous sheen that was shy of being metallic (which also meant it did not emphasize my skin’s natural texture!).

The formula is described as a “multi-dimensional baked formula” that has “all day long” wear with an “intense shimmer pigment.” I liked it more once I got a chance to apply it to cheeks, as the texture was drier and felt almost rough from the sparkles/looser feel of the powder on the skin. I had no trouble blending out and diffusing the edges of the powder highlighter on my cheeks, and it had a beautiful finish after it was applied. It had medium, buildable pigmentation that stayed on well for six and a half hours.
