It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation in a single layer, which applied fairly evenly. The pencil was firmer with a thinner, almost instant-matte consistency when applied to the skin.

For those with a more sensitive lash line, it might feel too firm or sharp against it, which is often how more kajal pencils are (at least, by US brands); it made my waterline water when I tried to use it there, so I wasn’t able to test it well on my waterline. On my lower lash line, it lasted for eight hours before fading visibly.

It had semi-sheer color coverage in a single pass, and it did not build up well. I found the product tended to bunch up and flake in places, which made it impossible to get an even layer of product. The texture was firmer, denser in the pencil and very thin, lightweight, which had a more instant-matte feel once on my skin (not as waxy or as creamy as most pencil eyeliners on the market). There were signs of fading present after seven hours of wear.
