Tarte Tarteist Blush Palette ($38.00 for 0.63 oz.) contains four shades of warm-toned blushes for spring/summer. It’s a limited edition palette housed in a slim, travel-friendly palette with a large interior mirror and the products are labeled on the palette itself. The formula used is the Amazonian Clay Blush one, which is supposed to have 12-hour wear and be “pigment-packed.” I like Tarte’s formula, but the one downside is that they rarely wear much beyond eight hours, so they tend to get hit badly by longevity ratings as a result. The pigmentation can sometimes be lacking, but all four shades in the palette had good color payoff.

Live is a softened, medium pink-coral with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had semi-opaque coverage with a smooth, slightly firm consistency that blended out fairly well. It lasted for eight hours on me, which isn’t bad, but it isn’t close to the 12-hours claimed. (This is, unfortunately, par for the course with Tarte’s formula for me.) Laugh is a medium, pinky-coral with warm undertones and a soft, frosted finish. It had great pigmentation with a soft, lightly powdery texture that was really blendable on the skin.
