ILIA Temptation Color Haze Multi-Use Pigment ($32.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a brighter, medium-dark pink-coral with soft, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. The texture was like a creamier gel, so it spread well over bare skin and wasn’t prone to lifting up base products when used as a cheek products.

It could have been a little more blendable, as I did find the product spread almost too easily at times, and it worked better with less and then building up just where I needed (or wanted) extra coverage. It had semi-sheer, buildable pigmentation–to semi-opaque with two to three layers–that wore well for seven hours as a cheek product.

As a lip product, it was thin, a little clingy, and noticeably tacky, so it wasn’t as comfortable as desired. It emphasized and clung to imperfections, while the product lasted for two hours as a lip tint.

$32.00/0.23 oz. - $139.13 Per Ounce

It's supposed to have "buildable" coverage that could be worn as a "wash of color" or built up to "richer, bolder payoff." It can be used on cheeks as well as lips. The consistency has a smooth, liquid-cream consistency--much more spreadable and more emollient than a potted cream blush but a bit denser and more substantial than a true liquid blush. On my lips, it had a thinner, clingier consistency and moderate tackiness. The coverage was sheer to medium (depending on how much product was applied or with what tool) and could be built up somewhat but was difficult to get much beyond medium.

The shades I tried spread out and blended out nicely on my cheeks without emphasizing my skin texture or lifting foundation, and they dried down for the most part. As a lip product, the color went on fairly well, but the lighter shade was more prone to settling into my lip lines while the deeper shade went on more flatteringly. As a cheek color, they lasted six to seven hours, and as a lip product, they lasted between two and three hours and were non-drying.

It had a sweet, vanilla scent, and there was a bit of a tingle on my skin when I used it as a cheek color but not something I noticed on my lips.

ILIA Fame DayLite Highlighting Powder ($34.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a medium copper with warmer, more orange undertones and lighter, golden shimmer throughout. The texture was soft, silky, and lightly powdery, and I found using a lighter hand or less-dense brush ideal to avoid over-applying product.

It had rich color payoff in a single layer, which applied evenly to bare skin and blended out without difficulty. The more I blended it out, the smoother the sheen appeared. It lasted well for eight hours before showing signs of fading.

ILIA Stutter Color Haze Multi-Use Pigment ($32.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark coral with strong, warm orange undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had a slightly thicker, more gel-like consistency that distributed evenly over bare skin but dried down to a more semi-matte finish (which was what distinguished this formula from their other cheek/lip formulas).

It was easy to work with as a cheek product, as it spread well and blended out without difficulty. The texture was noticeably tackier and harder to wear on my lips as it was a little thin and clingy. It wore well for seven hours as a cream blush and two hours as a lip product, which was non-drying over time.

ILIA Songbird NightLite Bronzing Powder ($34.00 for 0.42 oz.) is a medium-dark, reddish-brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation, though it had plenty of pigmentation and wouldn’t be something I’d consider to be that buildable — you definitely have to consciously use a light hand to do so.

It had a soft, lightly powdery texture that was finely-milled and blendable on bare skin. This shade applied evenly to my cheeks and diffused well along the edges. It lasted nicely for eight and a half hours before fading visibly.

The formula is supposed to be "super creamy" with a "luminous finish" with intensity that you can "dial up" for more color. I wouldn't describe the formula as buildable; it was quite pigmented where a little went a long way, so you would want to use a lighter hand, especially if you wanted more buildable coverage out of this formula.

The texture was soft, smooth, and fairly blendable without being too powdery nor too firmly pressed into the pan. It wasn't as blendable over bare skin as I would have liked, but I didn't have any issues blending it out over matte or set foundation. It is not completely unexpected that a more-matte finish didn't blend as readily over bare skin, but it was an area it could have performed better in. The formula lasted eight to nine hours on me before fading visibly.

ILIA Uptown NightLite Bronzing Powder ($34.00 for 0.42 oz.) is a medium-dark brown with warmer, more golden undertones and a natural matte finish. I found that it seemed to take on some of the natural finish of my skin (read: not flat or 100% matte!) but didn’t stick/become difficult to do so.

The consistency was soft, smooth, and finely-milled, but there was light powderiness present in the pan. I found using a lighter hand and applying the product, then building up if necessary, was best when working with this formula. It had rich color payoff, rather than buildable as marketed, which was the big “con” of the formula. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

It appeared more metallic when swatched, but slight powderiness of the product seemed to tamp down some of that shine in practice.

Once I applied and buffed the powder into my skin, it was more luminous and sheen-like than overtly shimmery. It had opaque pigmentation that stayed on well for eight hours before fading visibly.
