Patrick Ta Do We Know Her Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush ($34.00 for 0.37 oz.) contains a slightly richer, true coral cream blush paired with a lighter, peachier coral powder blush.

The cream was designed to be layered over the powder blush to keep the skin from looking too matte, though I didn’t find the powder blush was that mattifying–it was very skin-like, actually! They were both fairly consistent with how they were marketed, though I found the cream blush wasn’t quite as long-wearing and did shorten the wear of the powder blush (compared to wearing the powder blush alone).

Do We Know Her (Crème) is a brighter, medium coral that seemed quite balanced between pink and orange tones paired with a lightly pearlized and dewy sheen. It had semi-sheer color coverage in a single layer, which could be built up to medium coverage if desired.

The texture was lightweight, thin, and emollient; it felt more like a typical cream blush as it was “wet” to the touch and didn’t immediately become powder-like when it came into contact with my skin. The product diffused well over bare skin as well as over foundation. It worked well applied on top of the coordinating powder blush (as intended), though it shortened wear by a half hour. On its own, the cream blush lasted for eight hours on me before migrating a bit.

Formula Overview

The cream blush had a lightly creamy, moderately emollient consistency that applied evenly and blended out well over bare skin as well as over liquid foundation. In the duo format, the cream blush is actually designed to be layered over the powder (rather than typically under it) to add "life" back to the skin. It layered well on top of the blush to add a bit of shine without turning it into a full-on cream.

The pigmentation was sheer and buildable to semi-sheer to medium coverage, which seemed in line with the brand's marketing (though they could do a better job describing it). On its own, it lasted around six hours before fading/migrating noticeably. When I wore it on top of the powder blush, it seemed to shorten wear by a half hour to an hour.

Do We Know Her (Powder) is a light-medium, peachy coral with strong, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It didn’t seem like a full-on matte finish to me; the more I buffed and blended out the powder on my skin, the more skin-like the finish looked, so not quite satin but not matte either.

The consistency was smooth, velvety, and dense without being too firmly-pressed into the pan, so it was easy to pick up product. It had good color coverage in a single layer, which built up to full coverage with a second layer. It stayed on nicely for nine hours before showing signs of fading.

The consistency was soft, lightly powdery in the pan, but it had a smoother, denser feel to it that was almost velvety without being overly firm. The powder picked up well with a brush and yielded semi-opaque to opaque color payoff in a single layer, which applied evenly and blended out easily. The formula lasted around nine hours on its own, but layering the coordinating cream shortened wear by half hour to an hour.
