Inglot J311 Café au Lait Jennifer Lopez Matte Eyeshadow ($10.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a medium, orange-brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. The pigmentation was fantastic, while the consistency was soft, smooth, and velvety, so it adhered well to bare skin and blended out with ease. It wore well for eight hours on me before fading visibly.

The Matte formula is supposed to have "intense color" that "lasts for hours" that "blend ... freely." The brand also says that they're "buildable colors," which contradicts the "intense color" part, so I defer to the aspect that is often harder to achieve (pigmentation). Most shades had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, but I could see using a lighter touch to get more buildable color. The texture of the matte formula was smooth, soft, and just a smidgen dry to the touch, but I found most shades blended out with ease and had good adhesion to bare skin. They lasted between seven and eight hours on me.

It had rich color payoff in a single layer that applied beautifully to bare skin with even application. The texture was velvety and soft without being dry or too powdery in the pan, yet it blended out easily on my skin. It lasted for eight hours before fading slightly.

It had semi-opaque pigmentation with a slightly drier, thinner consistency that took slightly more effort to blend out along the edges, though it wasn’t so stiff that it was unworkable. The color stayed on well for seven and a half hours before it started to fade on me.
