It is supposed to be a “pressed gel-creme formula” with “deep, rich” pigmentation. It actually felt similar to the Eye Metals to the touch, but the ingredient list shows them to be different, and it did feel creamier and more like a cream-based product than a powder one. I think it is the density and lack of glossiness/a lot of slip that made it seem less like a traditional cream eyeshadow. It lasted for seven hours before starting to crease on me, and when I tried it as an eyeliner, it was harder to apply with the same intensity as when I used a flatter, wider brush (doesn’t seem to play well with finer brushes), but it lasted a bit longer at eight hours. It was richly pigmented and blendable on the skin.

The formula is supposed to have “high-shine” and give a “liquid-metal effect.” It’s very thin, almost water-like, and applies better to my arm/hand than to my eye when used with the included doe-foot applicator. I had a little more luck using a flat, synthetic brush, but it is so thin that trying to blend and spread the product across the skin’s surface did more to some product but not all, which resulted in an uneven layer of coverage. It had a longer drying time, so it easily migrated into creases when I used it alone, and it had a tendency to cause underlying products to crease if used as more than just a dab (like patting on top of an eyeshadow with your fingertip). I also experienced some burning sensation as it was drying down. Once it dried down, it was fairly smudge-proof and budge-proof; it took a lot of rubbing with my fingertip (against my hand) to get any transfer, and it was mostly shimmer. I saw only a few sparkles that had dropped over time, and it didn’t seem to crease further once it dried down — it’s just more finicky to avoid the creasing in the first place.
