Tom Ford Beauty In Deep Lip Color Matte ($54.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a dark, red-brown with warm undefrtones anda satin finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, creamy consistency that felt velvety and glided on with ease. The lipstick applied evenly and did not emphasize my lip lines. It lasted for six hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

The formula is supposed to be "richly pigmented" and have a "luxurious, velvet matte finish." The majority of the shades are semi-opaque to fully opaque with lightweight, velvety textures--creamy enough to glide on nicely but not enough slip to feel slippery or slide around on the lips when worn. The wear time varied from shade to shade with richer shades lasting over six hours. The formula was comfortable to wear and often lightly hydrating. There's a vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

It had nearly opaque color payoff in a single layer that applied evenly across the lips. The texture was lightweight, velvety, and just creamy enough not to skip when applied but did not slide around or feather over time. It wore well for six hours, left a stain behind, and was lightly moisturizing.
