Stellar Beauty Disco Moon 01 Metallic Moon Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium-dark, reddish copper with warm undertones and a fine, metallic sheen. it had nearly opaque color coverage that applied evenly to the lips and didn’t settle into my lip lines. The consistency was fairly smooth with just a hint of the feel of all the shimmer in it, but it did not feel gritty or rough on the lips. It wore well for five hours and was neither drying nor hydrating.

The formula is supposed to be “velvety soft” with “full coverage” that isn’t drying. There are five shades in the range (at least, at this time), and the pigmentation varied from semi-opaque to opaque. They had a denser, firmer texture that didn’t drag uncomfortably across the lips, but it took greater pressure than the average lipstick to apply across the lips. The result on the lips was thinner but still had coverage. There was no discernible scent or taste to me, except some of the waxiness of the base formula came through.

Stellar Beauty Disco Moon 02 Metallic Moon Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a rich, vibrant coral-red with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had good pigmentation–there was a hint of my lip freckle that came through–that applied evenly and smoothly despite having a firmer texture in the tube (firm but not stiff or rough). This shade wore well for six hours and was non-drying, as described.

Stellar Beauty Disco Moon 03 Metallic Moon Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium, fuchsia pink with cool undertones and lighter pink and lavender shimmer. It had semi-opaque pigmentation, which was buildable to opaque coverage with two layers. The consistency was firmer and denser in the tube, but it applied as a thin, even layer (with good coverage) that felt lightweight on. This shade stayed on well for five and a half hours, left a stain behind, and was non-drying.
