The formula is supposed to have "long-lasting hydration" with a "non-sticky" feel and a "glossy wash of color." They are sheer in coverage, as described, and keep in mind that this results in color that can look different based on one's natural lip colors and does mean they tend to look more similar applied than differentiated, too.

The texture was smooth, balm-like, and plush--it felt more gel-like and cushiony on my lips, which made it comfortable to wear. They applied evenly, didn't emphasize my lip lines or natural lip texture, and felt hydrating over time. Unsurprisingly, they weren't a particularly long-wearing product and lasted between two and three hours at best.
