It had opaque color coverage with a light-medium-weight consistency–it was one of the thicker shades on the collection–that applied smoothly and evenly. FORMULA SUMMARY | OCC Lip Tar/RTW ($15.00 for 0.14 fl. oz.) is supposed to be a long-wearing, pigmented liquid lipstick. The formula is light-to-medium in weight with some shades with a thinner or thicker consistency. As you might expect, the thinner ones tend to have sheerer coverage, though the average Lip Tar is semi-opaque to intensely opaque (like the smallest amount is needed to get opaque coverage). The Metallic shades tend to be thinner and have more slip compared to the cream ones. The formula is sometimes drying, sometimes just not drying. The formula is mint-scented but has no discernible taste. The new Lip Tar/RTW comes with a doe-foot applicator, which makes it easier to apply from the tube than the original Lip Tars.
