Estee Lauder Nude Mood Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a light-medium, muted pink with subtle, warm undertones and a creamy finish. The consistency felt lightly creamy, smooth as it glided across my lips, and lightweight, though it had enough substance for better adhesion/wear. In a single layer, it had nearly opaque color payoff that stayed on nicely for four and a half hours while the formula felt hydrating over time.

The Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick formula is supposed to have “high-intensity color” in a "single stroke" that "glides on effortlessly" and has "six hour" wear. More recent copy of the formula has been more specific as it having "medium-to-full coverage."

Most shades in the range are lightweight, creamy with moderate slip with semi-opaque to opaque coverage that wears four to seven hours. The formula tends to sit well on lips and either gives the illusion of plumpness or smooths out lip lines slightly. It's also hydrating while worn.

They are vanilla-scented but have no discernible taste.

It had excellent color coverage in a single pass, which was just shy of full coverage only on the inner area of my lips. The texture was creamy, smooth, and emollient without being slippery, which ensured a comfortable application and feel during wear. It lasted nicely for four and a half hours and was moisturizing while worn.

Estee Lauder Nude Fatale Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a deep burgundy with cool, berry-ish undertones and a lightly glossy finish. The pigmentation was good, though it wasn’t opaque and was hard to build up due to the creamier, more emollient texture.

I felt like the product applied fairly evenly and didn’t sink noticeably into my lip lines despite being so creamy, and I didn’t experience any issues with feathering or bleeding past my natural lip line, but there was room for improvement in the overall application. It wore well for five and a half hours and was moisturizing during that time.
