They are a cream formula, and I find it works best with flat, synthetic brushes over fluffier brushes, though I’ll use a fluffier brush for crease work or blending.

It had excellent color payoff with a smooth, lightly emollient consistency–it felt wetter to the touch than other Super Shock Shadows–but applied beautifully to the lid with even coverage.
