Burberry My Burberry Blush Palette ($68.00 for 0.17 oz.) is a soft, medium pink with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in one layer but was a more forgiving blush that could be diffused or used with a lighter hand for less coverage if desired. The gold in the background of the powder was just an overspray; all swatches were done after removing the overspray.

The formula is supposed to have a “soft-as-silk” texture that yields a “blendable powder formula [that] can be layered for custom intensity.” I would describe it as a fairly pigmented blush–medium to semi-opaque coverage if used with a light hand or feathery brush–that had a more forgiving texture, so it could easily be sheered out for less coverage or intensity. The finish became more luminous the more blended and diffused the powder was on the skin, but it never appeared noticeably shimmery so it never accentuated the skin’s natural texture. The texture was smooth, moderately dense, but I had no trouble picking up product with softer brushes (like SUQQU’s Cheek). On me, it wore well for eight and a half hours before fading slightly.
