Bobbi Brown Lantern Light Luxe Metal Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a light, rosy copper with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had mostly opaque pigmentation with a lightly creamy consistency that was thin, lightly tacky (so adhered and stayed in place better) but comfortable to apply and to wear. This shade lasted nicely for four hours and felt lightly moisturizing while worn.

Bobbi Brown Firecracker Luxe Metal Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a brighter, medium red base with warmer, more orange undertones paired with larger red flecks of sparkle and micro-glitter. It felt more textured as I applied it, so those who are sensitive to that may want to skip this as the base wasn’t substantial or thick enough to camouflage the texture of the sparkles.

It had semi-sheer color coverage that looked more medium to semi-opaque in person due to all the sparkle content. The lipstick felt thin with moderate creaminess, which resulted in a bit of product settling into my lip lines. It stayed on well for four and a half hours but had some migration of sparkles after five hours of wear. The formula felt lightly hydrating over time.

It had semi-opaque, buildable color coverage that adhered well to my lips and didn’t emphasize my lip texture or lip lines. The lipstick had a lightly creamy consistency that was slightly dense in the tube but not to the point where it dragged on my lips during application. It wore well for five hours and felt lightly moisturizing while worn.
