According to the brand, the formula is supposed to have “easy application” with a “buildable finish.” It is a baked formula, so the drier, looser consistency wasn’t a total surprise, but it is prone to sheering out and kicking up excess in the pan if you’re not careful. The pan is large enough where you can use two shades or all three together without a lot of trouble, but to get just one shade, it is harder to fit an average-sized blush brush, and even a lot of the highlighter brushes I have were too large to just get a single strip of color. It is most practically used as a mix of at least two shades. It had semi-sheer, buildable coverage (to about semi-opaque) with a nice, luminous sheen on the skin that didn’t emphasize pores. On me, it lasted for seven hours before fading.
