is a bright, fuchsia pink with violet micro-shimmer and cool, blue undertones. It had fairly good pigmentation, but again, there’s some translucency there–your natural lip color may peek through slightly. It goes on evenly overall, but sometimes you can see “lines” from where you’ve pressed your lips together. It’s slightly metallic in person, but it’s more of a fine pearly shimmer effect. On me, this shade wore well for five hours and wore away evenly without gathering into lip lines. Tom Ford Beauty John (LE, $32.00) is darker, warmer. Kat Von D Lullabye (P, $21.00) is darker, matte. Too Faced Metallic Macaron Melted Metal Liquified Lipstick ($21.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is a bold, brightened, medium fuchsia-pink with warm undertones and lighter pink and gold metallic shimmer. It had mostly opaque pigmentation that applied well overall, though the texture has enough slip to it that if you press your lips together, sometimes you’ll see slight “lines.” The color wore well for five hours on me and was neither hydrating nor drying.
