It has a thin, emollient texture with a light tackiness, and it never fully dries down/sets so there is always a sheen. It worked best over bare skin, but it is possible to apply over liquid foundation, though I recommend either patting on with light pressure or applying while the liquid foundation is drying down (so there’s some dampness to it) to minimize disturbing your underlying base products. The blush was blendable on the skin and looked even. It had semi-sheer coverage–and the brand only describes it as a “healthy glow and natural burst of color”–that builds to semi-opaque at most. It’s predominantly a highlighter on my medium skin tone with only smidgen of pink appearing on the skin. I think fairer complexions will be able to use this more as a blush as well as to add radiance. The finish has a moderate shine and looks luminous on the skin without emphasizing pores. On my normal skin, it lasted for seven and a half hours before starting to break down.
