Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered Eyeshadow Palette ($65.00 for 0.59 oz.) is a new, updated take on the brand’s original Rose Gold palette, which had some mixed reviews (I rated it a C-, for reference). The formula used for the metallic shades is very different compared to the original as well as other shimmer eyeshadows from the brand–they feel and perform more like a cream eyeshadow (by touch alone, they felt like a dense, thicker cream eyeshadow–like a denser take on MAC Cream Colour Bases to me). As they seemed to be more cream than powder, they move in the pan and will show indentations from fingertips or brushes, and they are better applied with fingertips or flat, synthetic brushes (like a MAC 242).
