Makeup Geek Romance Blush ($9.99 for 0.15 oz. pan; $12.99 for 0.15 oz. compact) is described as a “soft rose with gold shimmer.” It’s a gold-shimmered, coral-orange with warm undertones and a soft, frosted finish. Becca Lychee/Opal (P, $27.00) is a cream product. MAC Petal Power (LE, $25.00) is less shimmery, pinker. Tom Ford Beauty Love Lust (P, $55.00) is darker, pinker. In the pan, one might think it’s the brand’s version of NARS Orgasm, but this is much warmer, more orange-based than pink. The texture is soft and smooth, lightly buttery, and the higher shimmer level doesn’t emphasize pores. It gives the skin a glowing, luminous sheen while the color is even and easily blended on the skin. It had good pigmentation and was true-to-pan in color. Applied, the blush lasted well for eight and a half hours before I noticed it looking faded.
