MAC Dainty Mineralize Blush ($27.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “light yellow pink with gold pearl.” It’s a medium pink with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. Chanel Innocence (160) (P, $45.00) is more neutral, rosier. MAC Cheeky Bugger (LE, $21.00) is less shimmery. Urban Decay Streak Blush (P) is brighter, warmer, more matte. Dior My Lady (003) (LE, $60.00) is darker, less shimmery. Hourglass Radiant Magenta (P, $35.00) is warmer. Tarte Crave (LE, $26.00) is darker. NYX Summer Peach (P, $5.00) is darker, more matte. The texture was soft, finely-milled, and lightly powdery, though it was certainly easy to blend when applying to the skin. It doesn’t look powdery on the skin, once blended and buffed on. According to MAC, the Mineralize Blush formula is described as a “sheer and lightweight” formula where “colour builds lightly” with “luminous, pearlized shimmer.” This had semi-sheer color payoff in one layer, though it was buildable to richer, more opaque coverage in two to three layers (depending on how much you grab each time). This newly repackaged version (I still haven’t received confirmation on whether or not the formula was updated) seems to have a smoother consistency than the older version, though the color seems about the same. On me, this shade wore well for seven hours before fading.
