New for summer, LORAC has released their Light Source Illuminating Highlighter in four shades (reviews to come for all shades). The formula is supposed to be buildable for both a “soft, natural sheen” or “layered for a high-shine, dramatic effect.” Starlight had medium, buildable pigmentation that didn’t require a lot of layers to intensify, but it was also to apply as a sheerer layer without having to be very, very light-handed. The powder had a very smooth, silky consistency in the pan, and it wasn’t too powdery nor was it too firm. It was easy to apply, blend and diffuse along the edges, and the finish didn’t emphasize pores. This shade wore for eight and a half hours before breaking down.
