Estee Lauder Poesie (215) Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium pink with warm undertones and a shiny, cream finish. It had rich color coverage that applied smoothly and evenly across my lips without tugging on them during application. The texture was lightweight, creamy enough to be comfortable and easy to work with, but it adhered well and did not slide around over the five hours it lasted for. The formula kept my lips hydrated over time.

The Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick formula is supposed to have “high-intensity color” in a "single stroke" that "glides on effortlessly" and has "six hour" wear. More recent copy of the formula has been more specific as it having "medium-to-full coverage."

Most shades in the range are lightweight, creamy with moderate slip with semi-opaque to opaque coverage that wears four to seven hours. The formula tends to sit well on lips and either gives the illusion of plumpness or smooths out lip lines slightly. It's also hydrating while worn.

They are vanilla-scented but have no discernible taste.

Estee Lauder Vin Noir (315) Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a rich, berry-red with cool undertones and a natural sheen. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied evenly across my lips, and though it didn’t have full coverage, it was harldy noticeable due to the brightness and finish of the color. The consistency was lightweight, creamy with moderate slip, and comfortable to wear. It wore well for six hours, left a stain behind, and was hydrating while worn.
