Chanel Bronze Antique (32) Ombre Premiere Longwear Powder Eyeshadow ($30.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a muted, medium gold with warm, yellow undertones and a metallic sheen. The consistency was smooth, soft, and blendable but was somewhat dusty in the pan and prone to sheering out a bit on the lid. There were also a few larger sparkles that seemed to spread away from the color itself and resulted in a bit of fallout. It had opaque pigmentation, though, and applied evenly to bare skin. This shade lasted for seven hours on me before fading noticeably.

The formula is described as a “richly-pigmented” and “longwearing.” There are 16 shades available, and I’ve tried eight of them and have found that most are semi-opaque to opaque in coverage with soft, blendable textures that are often on the dustier side. Some shades were prone to sheering out on the lid and applied best by layering and building up the color than trying to pack it on. They lasted between six and seven and a half hours on me, which was below average. I think Chanel’s formula in their quads is better overall, as they are not as dusty but still are blendable. I think the quad formula also sat better on the lids.

Chanel Carbone (20) Ombre Premiere Longwear Powder Eyeshadow ($30.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a dark, grayish black with neutral undertones and a matte finish. It had good pigmentation–just shy of opaque–with a soft, powdery texture that had some excess product kick up in the pan when used. It had a tendency to sheer out slightly when I blended it, and the edges were not as softly diffused as I expected. It wore well for six and a half hours on me before creasing.

It had rich, opaque pigmentation that applied beautifully to bare skin and did not sheer out too readily on the lid. The texture was smooth, dense, and almost cream-like without any dustiness. It wore well for seven and a half hours on me.

It had good color payoff that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out nicely. The tetxure was soft in the pan, smooth without kicking up excess product, and adhered well without primer and did not sheer out too quickly. The color stayed on for just over seven hours on me.

Chanel Verde (18) Ombre Premiere Longwear Powder Eyeshadow ($30.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a muted, dark forest green with warm, brown undertones and fine, emerald green pearl. It had more of a satin finish on the lid, though it appeared a bit more shimmery to my eye in the pan and initially swatched. The texture was soft, dusty, and prone to sheering out on the lid. It was harder to apply and blend out this shade for even, diffused coverage as the brown base always looked a bit patchy. It started to crease on me after six and a half hours of wear.
