It’s a limited edition product (and shade) for the holiday season that is supposed to give a “modern, gilded lip look” with a moisturizing formula. This is a gold gloss–it is chocked full of sparkle and shimmer of varying sizes, though none of them felt chunky or gritty on the lips. The texture was light-medium in weight, mostly non-tacky, and smooth, and that heavier weight and thickness helped the shimmer feel smoother on the lips. It’s a pretty interesting color to wear on its own, because despite it not applying as evenly as it should, it was hard to tell in person as it really catches and reflects light in a dazzling way. It worked well layered over other Amuse Bouche shades, though it is particularly lovely mixed with any bright red shade. On its own, the gloss lasted for four and a half hours with just a few sparkles having migrated beyond my lips over time, and it was lightly moisturizing over time. It had a slightly sweet, fruity scent (like their other lip products) but no discernible taste.

At this time, it is showing as “temporarily sold out” on Sephora, which is how it has been since I actually received it–I hope Bite Beauty will restock, though.
