It’s definitely not the matte finish you might expect–and it gives off a higher sheen than even a satin, though the shine does wear down after an hour or two of wear. It had mostly opaque pigmentation that goes on evenly and smoothly, as the consistency is creamy enough not to drag, but it doesn’t slide around once applied. It was one of the more emollient shades in the range–it had more slip, so it has a thicker, creamier feel on the lips. Luckily, the color still went on evenly, and the wear came in at five hours.
