I always do the eyes first. I got into the habit to deal with fallout more easily, but now I do it even when applying cream shadows.

I’ve always done my face first. I would like to do my eyes first. I only seem to remember this as I’m cleaning up eyeshadow fallout and kicking myself for doing my effing face first. Such a habit, I don’t even think about it. Hopefully someday…

This is actually my first step too. I didn’t even think about it because it’s been a habit for so long. I wonder too if it’s real the last skin care step or the first makeup prep step.

i’ve always applied base products first, but i was watching bobbi brown videos where she applied undereye concealer first before foundation! is it radical or what.

If I’m doing any eyeshadow, I always do the eyes first. But, if I’m just going to put on mascara, I’ll do foundation first and use it on my eyelids to even them out. It just depends on what I’m going for!

I know people do their eyes first, but I’ve never understood how that’s possible; if you blend or smoke out the bottom edge of your eye, then you either ruin that with your foundation and concealer, or you have to leave a strip of bare skin. How does that work?

I always do my moisturisers, primer and foundation first and let each one set.
Next is my brows and mascara
Powder and blush follow
Then lipstick and last of all, my eye shadows last.

I always do brows first, then eyes, and then face. I do it in this order because I don’t have much experience and I find this way is more easy If I make a mistake.
