Sephora Tiramisu, my go-to brown for the waterlines. Of all times, probably a Double Glam Eyeliner by Kiko with a brown on on side and a purple on the other.
I own a ton but I use these the most. Bobbi Brown Black plum . MAC Graphblack. Urban Decay Demolition
For the everyday essential tightline on the underside of my upper lashes: Marc Jacobs Blaquer. Nothing else has ever worked THIS well. But for the area outside the tightline, it can be one of my favorite gel liners, like Essence Midnight in Paris, MAC Siahi or Colourpop HoHo. Or a pencil quite often, Sephora Contour pencils being my favorites, Go For A Ride and Cocoa are loved much! In other words: too many to decide!

Love Flirting Game, cool browns are hard to find. I use Cappuccino more though, but overall, I think it has to be Jordana 12 Hour Made To Last in Black Point. Cheap, super black, creamy but sets completely, cheap, easy to find, doesn’t tug, easy to sharpen, oh and cheap! 😉

Hmmm. Probably either a brightening color for my waterline to make me seem less like I’m dealing with long-term health issues (my current go-to is the Tarte inner rim one), or a matte brown for my lash line (as it’s more forgiving and more natural looking than black), and the most commonly used one of those is Urban Decay’s Whiskey. If I’m going for a color my first pick is always a green (or at least a green-y blue back when I didn’t have a decent green at hand) and there are a lot of good ones from a bunch of brands these days.
Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner! The Maybelline HyperSharp Liner is a close second, but it’s not as black as the Stila though it’s very comparable.
Easy. MAC fluidline in Dipdown and MAC eye pencil in Prunella.
Don’t love so much but the l’oréal infaillible ( i used it because i wont open an other until i finished this) or else i bought the inglot one and i cant wait !!!!
Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Eyeliner trio in Warm Nudes. I use them for most daily looks, it has a black, a deep bronze and a rose gold coppery shade. I also like the trio called Hazel eyes, it has a gorgeous taupe shade perfect for hazel eyes.
I also love the Stila Smudge Sticks. My favorites are Deep Burgundy and Black Amethyst
Bobbi Brown Caviar Ink. Black!
Sephora Snakeskin Dress (sadly discontinued now), Diving in Malaysia and Cappuccino, along with GOSH Metallic Brass.
Pencil: Avon SuperShock Gel Eyeliner in Black (very creamy and smooth. One of the darkest blacks I have and wears like iron on my oily lids. And it’s cheap!)
Liquid: Clinique Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pen in 01 Black (the brush tip is why I love this pen! You have a lot of control and it’s easy to use, hence the name. It makes applying liquid liner more fool-proof for me since my eyesight sucks and I struggle to see what I’m doing!)
Runner up pencil: Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Eye Pencil Duo in Onyx/Coffee (nice formula, one of my favourites since it doesn’t have too much slip and it’s double-ended! I reserve its use for travel since it’s nearly done.)
Runner up liquid: Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner (it really does last and it applies smoothly and evenly. Been using this for years.)
Liquid – I’ve been using Eyeko fat liner for most of my eye, but Physicians Formula has a thin paint brush like tip that’s great for getting the inner corners.
Pencil – I just started using Pixie. I like that it’s soft, but it seems to skip more than others that I’ve had so I don’t think I’ll stick with it.
I almost always use black eyeliner, but if I want color I’ll grab a Stila Smudge Stick, an Ulta mechanical pencil or use eye shadow.
Rimmel Scandaleyes waterproof e/l in brown 03. Perfect bronzey brown color. Or Mac’s Teddy.
I think I can narrow it to my likely top 2 – Stila Smudge Sticks in Lionfish (sparkling golden brown) and Spice (matte warm brown). They are both awesome, everyday go-to colors and their texture smooth like buttah. I also reach for the Smudge Sticks in Damsel (black brown) and Deep Burgundy quite a lot. My UD pencils have not been getting as much love lately.
The Sephora Long Lasting Precision eyeliner. Bought it for the first time around 6 years ago and never used another eyeliner again, it’s the perfect one for me!
Easy one. Chanel Espresso. I have easily gone through 10 and my daughter even more. It’s THE one perfect brown for both of us. Perfect texture, lasts all day. Only negative is the price lol, but it’s worth it because I don’t waste money trying others. I try to buy at sale time

This is a really tough question and I tend to wear different products depending on upper versus lower versus waterline: I have a handful which have their own special pencil holder (exalted for sure) since they are standouts for popping my green hazel eye colour:

Chanel Le Stylo – Grenat – difficult formula, love the colour

Illamasqua – Severe (d/c’d ? ) – OMG the most beautiful but I think a tough colour for many to wear around the eyes because of it’s pinky redness- none of their replacement colours pull remotely similar

Gel – Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Liner in Black Ink
I alternate between a few “most used.” Top 3 are probably Urban Decay LSD, Urban Decay Uzi, and just Loreal Carbon Black liquid liner.

MAC Coffee…Perfect dark brown that I cannot live without!
I can’t live without my KVD tattoo liner in Trooper. So long lasting and waterproof. My only wish is that it was more matte, but other than that it’s so perfect for me.
UD Velvet in Lush. It’s almost always a dark matte or satin brown for me.
Urban Decay Black Velvet. For a colorful one, either Urban Decay Covet or Sephora Fairytale.
Eyeliner is the only item I won’t leave the house without wearing. I only wear black liquid liners on my top lid (all other colours and anything under my eyes make them look tired and small). I’ve tried all the high end brands and they are great, but seeing as how I blast through liner pens like no ones business, I was pleasantly surprised to discover the Essence waterproof liquid liner pen in black does the trick for me at $4 a pop!
Such a hard one! Impossible to narrow down! But I can at least pick some tops.
For liquid regretfully my absolute favorite is Tom Ford’s Eye Defining Pen. Ridiculously pricey but they take me a long while to use up since I don’t use liquid everyday or anything. Just the perfect, foolproof, smudge-proof, deep-set eye-proof, black liquid liner for me. KVD, Jessie’s Girl, Stila, and multiple Japanese brands are also very nice but TF EDP just beats them all.
Pencils are hardest to narrow down for me. They are a massively loved and important part of my collection and certainly get the most use daily for lining. Sephora’s fantastic formula Christine mentioned is excellent and produces my favorite brown liner, Tiramisu. And Boyfriend’s Jeans is just such a classic, great blue. NARS’ Larger Than Life formula is one I always love, with Via Veneto as a great tightliner and excellent colors (Barrow Street, Bourbon Street, St. Mark’s place). Obviously Urban Decay spoils us with color. And Make Up For Ever’s graphic and regular liners are top notch. Some other random favs: UD UV-B/Covet/Deep End/Rockstar/Desperaition/etc, Touch in Sol’s gel liners of all colors but especially orange and lilac, Stila’s lovely shades, Marc Jacob’s Peridot/Orange Crush/etc, and many more. I favor purples, blues, teals, grays, oranges, etc.
There are many gel formulas I love but NARS and Bobbi Brown are probably my most-used. NARS Trasvaal is the best gray. I’m also mad for cake liner. And well clearly pretty much any liner! I could go on and on forever clearly haha…

I’m boring so I use black liner everyday. My favorite is Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner in Trooper.

Not a very well know product I don’t think, but the Starlooks Luxe Longwear Eye Pen in black gets tons of use from me. Got it in a subscription bag and I use it almost daily! If not that then the Colourpop pencil in Fast Lane (dark green). Really makes brown eyes pop!
I always need a wing and waterline and tightline eyeliner. Bobbi brown gel liner using her brush (black) for the wing, and marc jacobs for the waterline + tightline. Unfortunately they both start to fade within 2 hours for me because my face cant hold ANY product (but they are still the most long lasting, anything else lasts significantly less than that even!)
Easy: MAC Rich Ground fluidline, I wear it almost every single day. I’m a redhead and the coppery color is a perfect match for a neutral liner on me.

Have any Of you gals tried the new Ardency Inn Punker Rock on waterproof liquid liner? I have extremely oily lids, and eyes that water like crazy. It has some great reviews, but as some Of you have said you cant always Trust the reviews on Sephora. I’d love a non-biased opinion.
Ulta automatic liner in Black Brown for tightlining and the same liner in Olive and Cobalt for pops of color ? I’d love to get my hands on more Urban Decay liners since I only have Psychadelic Sister and it’s a little bright for a regular use.

Urban Decay Uzi which is a deep gray with a shimmer finish and Smashbox Smoke which is a deep gray. I haven’t seen the Smashbox liner in a long time. They started becoming harder to find so I bought as many as I could.
My daily go to’s are Mac Rich Ground fluidline or NYX slim pencil in Copper (discontinued, but I hoarded a bunch so should last until I can find a good dupe). For color: MUFE artist liner in iridescent turquoise. To brighten: MJ highliner in Sunset
For neutrals I reach for Urban Decay oil slick, smoke, corrupt, demolition, roach, uzi, or sabbath or MAC stubborn brown, engraved, or grey utility. I’ve also recently been reaching for ColourPop Creme gel liner in dtla or timber.
For color I’ve been reaching more for bright blues or turquoise lately so I’ve been using Urban Decay chaos, abyss, deep end or mainline lately. I change it up a lot because I have a ton of liners but these have been the most used in recent weeks

Jordana’s Fabuliner, which is a fantastic felt tip liner for $2.99. It lasts me more than a year, so I usually have to throw it out when it’s still usable for sanitary reasons. It’s pigmented, uber affordable and lasts all day.

Hummmm…before i was an “everyday black eyeliner girl” but it was before (yes you can do it) Now i am an “everyday brown eye pencil liner” so my most used and i have like 10 pencil all around the home because i love it so much!
Essence eye pencil in Teddy! a gorgeous “golden/bronze chocolate metallic brown” so so beautiful and so inexpensive like 1,50$
Mostly the gel eyeliners from bobbi brown or l’oreal. Only for upper eyelid; not as kohl or lower lash line.
L`Orréal Silkissime liner

MAC Coffee. I always reach for pencil eyeliners and brown over black, so MAC Coffee is a staple for me.
Rimmel’s SCANDALEYES WATERPROOF KOHL LINER. I have very very watery and sensitive eyes and this eyeliner doesn’t irritate my eyes at all.
Lovvvvve the Scandaleyes kohl pencils. I wear the brown #3 one on most days. Wore it to the water park and it did not budge. Such a fantastic liner. So long lasting!
Yes. I just wish they had more colors. Like the UD 24/7 glide on eye pencils. That would be epic!
I am liking the Burberry liners as a sort of basic– black, brown, blue.
I use the Tom Ford black liquid for special occasions.
Also wear both Chanel’s Rouge Noir and some of the Yeux Stylos– the green Feuilles from last fall and the Perle de Lune- — a sort of taupe silver– great for a subtle lower lash line.
I also have a Suqqu purpley burgundy gel liner pot — does not budge.
I totally forgot to add Loreal Silkkissme liners. Love those liners but currently I have misplaced the black one so it skipped my mind to mention that one lol. Also I did not think of other type of liners. I don’t have a standard liquid liner. I recently bought KVD in liner in Dali and the black Scandaleyes felt tip liner. I have only worn thema few times though. As for pot liners my most used is Mac’s Blitz n Glitz!
I love those too, but you have to buy the L’Oreal sharpener. I found that no other sharpener works on them. Try NYX Slide On for a similar consistency but more color choices!
NYX Slide On Eye Pencil. For everyday, I used Jet Black on the top lid and Black Sparkle on the bottom, but I can put any of their great colors on the top over the Jet Black and get both the color and the depth the black provides. They go on so easily – no tugging, and they stay on. The black doesn’t even rub off onto the colored pencil if I wait a minute before adding the color on top. And the price is low enough to collect the 16 colors!
For liquid liner, my favorite is Kat Von D Ink Liner in Trooper. For pencil liner, I use Urban Decay Perversion to tightline religiously, but for the lower lashline I rarely use black, I like Muse from UD but I think it was limited edition. Any neutral or bronzy shade will do!
Marc Jacobs Highliner in Blacquer
I’ve been using the Smashbox liners lately, the ones that have the sharpener in the cap. I love those, but only use them out of the sets that come out during the holidays. They are way to expensive to buy one at a time and honestly, it takes no time at all to get through one of them. I love the brown, black, blue & purple ones the most.

Since my hooded dry eyes aren’t very eyeliner friendly anymore I’m going to use this as an opportunity to publicly beg and plead with Too Faced to BRING BACK MY LAVA GLOSS liner!!! I know it’s been d/c so long the chances are teeny but I loved that eyeliner so much! Nothing else comes close. Does anyone but me even remember it? Lol its been a decade I should probably just let it go ………
