I'll opt for longer-wear products--like Marc Jacobs Highliners, which are the longest-wearing eyeliners for me--if I know I need that level of longevity. For base, I've been going sheerer rather than heavier (and also less dewy/luminous), so a nice tint but something that can be blended back into place if it does smudge or move.
