Urban Decay Rollergirl Palette Look #2
Urban Decay Rollergirl Palette Look #2
We had our celebratory dinner on Saturday, and I had to wear Chanel Dragon–my go-to for special occasions–and decided to pair it with the neutral shades from the Rollergirl palette, due out in late April. I really cannot express how absolutely in love I am with Le Metier de Beaute Echo… ah, it is just glowy goodness to the fullest extent.
You will need the following…
- Eyes: MAC Radiant Rose Prep + Prime Highlighter (white-pink base), Urban Decay Verve Eyeshadow (muted taupe brown), Urban Decay Suspect Eyeshadow (muted champagne bronze), Burberry Trench Eyeshadow (highlighter), Urban Decay Whiskey 24/7 Liner (warm dark brown), Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara (black)
- Face: Guerlain Parure Gold Foundation (02, 03)
- Cheeks: Le Metier de Beaute Echo Blush (pink-peach with gold sheen), Dior Amber Diamond Skin Shimmer (bronze shimmer)
- Lips: Chanel Dragon Rouge Allure Laque (red)
- Brushes: 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 222 (fluffy crease brush), 263 (angled eyeliner brush), 116 (dense blush brush)
- Substitutes: Verve = MAC Retrospeck (for this look), Suspect = theBalm All About Alex
For eyes, start by applying Greed as your eyeshadow base all over the eye area with the 249. Apply Verve eyeshadow to the lower lid with the 239. Next, apply Suspect eyeshadow above the crease and into the outer corner with the 222. Use Trench eyeshadow to highlight the brow bone and diffuse the crease color with the 217. Apply Whiskey liner on the lower lash line. Finish by sweeping lashes with Inimitable Intense mascara.
For cheeks, apply Echo blush on the apples of the cheeks and pat towards the temple with the 116. Lightly apply Amber Diamond on the highest planes of the cheeks with the 165.
For lips, apply Dragon for a complementing lip.
Ooo pwettyy.
Thank ya, Helu!
Omg! Omg! So beautiful! You’re making me feel like I *need* Rollergirl…even though I already have Woodstock and 2 Darkhorses from other palettes! Gah D:

Thank you, GJ! 🙂
You look great! I love that blush on you! Wish I could afford Dior Amber Diamond for myself…LOL.
Thanks, Chris!
Christine, this is so gorgeous! I don’t own anything by Chanel (it’s a bit out of my price range) but I’m so tempted to save up for Dragon! Every time you wear it, it looks so stunning.
It’s one of my all-time favorite products – definitely worth the splurge if you can 🙂
Have you done a post of all time favorites before? Although I’m guessing that would be tough as things are often not available after a certain amount of time…. Would still be fun though! I’m noticing odd places come up on Google when I search for the Chanel Dragon #75, is it still part of their current line up?
Yes, Chanel Dragon Rouge Allure Laque is permanent 🙂 I try to only use permanent or else very, very recently LE items (like it just came out – so it’s to show it in action). I do my best not to use really old, limited edition products in a new look. Inevitably, looks in the archives will use products you can’t get any more, which is why I also list substitutes if anything in the look is LE.
You look beautiful.
Thank you, Steph!
Too lovely <3 love the blusher on you Christine.
Thanks so much, Jill!
Stunning!!
Thanks, Julchen!
Wow Christine you look breathtaking! Like a movie star on the red carpet or something. I want to buy everything you’re wearing just in hope that I can make it look a fraction as good as you do. Haha! I hope you had a good time at your celebration and congratulations again!
Thanks so much, Jessi 😀

Christine, I looooove this look on you!!!… it is so glam and elegant!!! Now I think I need the Chanel Dragon Laque… Do you think the Echo blush is similar to Lancome Mandarin Sky? Thanks for sharing your awesome makeup looks 😀
Thanks so much, Eva! 🙂 It is similar – the texture is silkier though.
Classic & elegant! And your skin looks so glowy!
Thank ya, Kelly!
Oh, wow. This look is amazing on you (as they always are). I think you just convinced me to buy the Chanel red. Beautiful!

You look absolutely beautiful! I can see why u love that lipstick so much.
Thanks, Mary!
Beautiful look, Christine! Do you think the blush would work on someone very pale (cool-toned)?
Also, congrats on finishing the M.B.A. I remember finishing my Ph.D., so I can definitely relate! No matter how busy your life is, you will still have this period where you feel like you have so much free time now that all the nights and weekends of studying, paper-writing, research etc. are done. I think it’s amazing you managed to keep up the blog while finishing the program; you should be very proud!
It might – it is pretty orange-based, so it might be harder to pull off with cooler undertones.
Thanks so much, Faye! 🙂
just from the picture alone, i knew that you’re wearing chanel rouge allure in dragon 🙂 that truly is an excellent colour! do you think it will suit cool, pale skin? 🙂 i look awful in oragne reds and this one looks nothing like orange…
I think it would! It’s not an orange-based red, it’s blue-based!
Your eyes are só beautiful! Great look 🙂
Thank you, Emz! 🙂
Smexy mama! 🙂 Love this look- so dramatic yet elegant.
Thanks, Valentina!
LOVE the eyes, and I wish I could rock a red lip like you do, girl 🙂 Great look, Christine!
Thank you, Cathy!
So beautiful! 🙂
Thanks, Jamie! 🙂
Sooooo pretty!!!!! You make me drool every time you talk about Echo. Sucks that the brand isn’t available in Canada! I am making do with Mandarin Sky 🙂
Thanks a lot, Andrea!
Awww, you look like a Hollywood starlet!
Thanks! 🙂
LOVE!!!
Yay!
Love, love, LOVE! Very glam!
What did you have for dinner?!
We went to a fancy steakhouse and had steak, mashed potatos, and truffled mac & cheese!
FLAWLESS! Your skin and makeup looks amazing!

Thanks a lot, Julia 🙂
Stunning! you girl get better every time!!
Thank you, Jimena!
Chanel Dragon Rouge Allure Its a must have! 🙂
This is unbelievably gorgeous. I will be getting Chanel Dragon Rouge Allure asap. Rollergirl palette was already on my list. This combo though made me let out a “gasp” of “wooww!” So pretty!!
Thanks, Renee!
Strikingly beautiful.
Thanks a lot, Simone!
Absolutely GORGEOUS. Love the lips!! You kept the rest of your makeup soft and natural so that your lips were the main focus. I would rock that color any time of the day but not sure if it would flatter darker complexions (NC45-NC50).I sometimes second guess red lipcolors because I don’t want to look clownish. What do you think?
Thanks so much! I think it would totally work!
SEXY!! Dragon is my favourite red lipstick ever, so it’s hard to go wrong there. I have to say I love the blush combination in particular, though- much bolder than I expected from the description. Makes a very powerful look.
Thanks so much 🙂
and here I was thinking about what to pair next time I go out with mac russian red… thanks for this christine! I still need to pair it with eyeliner though. My eyes look tired without blacktrack!
hi christine! I need your opinion on red lips. Do you think I can use sidecar from the Urband decay naked palette as an eyeshadow with mac russian red? or is neutral with no shimmer the only way to go? Thanks!
Definitely!
Hi Christine! Love this look! Seeing as Dragon is now gone, do you have a dupe for this? I really want it but they nio longer sell it 🙁 Thanks!
I haven’t found a dupe for Dragon yet!
