Tom Ford Beauty River Lips & Boys Lip Color ($36.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a light-medium, pinky coral with warm undertones and a cream finish. The color payoff was nearly opaque in a single layer, and it applied evenly, though there was slight product that slipped into my deeper lip lines. I didn’t think it was noticeable from a normal viewing distance, just in the close-up photo. The texture was lightweight, creamy with moderate slip, and was comfortable to wear. It stayed on well for four hours and was hydrating over time.

The Lips & Boys Lip Color formula is not different from the full-sized Lip Color range; they offer a travel-sized version (which is actually cheaper by the ounce: $36.00/0.07 oz. or $514.29/oz. compared to the full-size at $54.00/0.10 oz. or $540.00/oz. The formula is supposed to have an "ultra-creamy texture" and "pure color" with a "balance of luminosity." The range has a fair amount of variation as the finishes differ (matte to metallic), so coverage can be medium to full with some shades applying well and others decently. The wear was anywhere from three hours to over six hours. In general, the formula has a creamy texture that's easy to work with, comfortable to wear, and is lightly to moderately hydrating. They have a vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Tom Ford Beauty Jordan Lips & Boys Lip Color ($36.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a deep, reddened plum with subtle, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It had very faint pearl that gave it a subtle shimmer but was barely detectable in person (just added more depth, I think). The texture was smooth, lightly creamy, and comfortable to wear as it glided easily across my lips and distributed the product evenly. It had good color coverage, though it wasn’t opaque, and made my lips appear slightly smoother overall. It wore well for five hours and was hydrating over time.
